The rewards for the heli battle have been significantly nerfed. This mode was only enjoyable for the first three months after its release in March 2022. Subsequent economic adjustments have made the rewards in this mode meager. While rewards in Arcade and Realistic battles have been adjusted, the heli PvE mode seems to have been forgotten by Gaijin and remains in a poor state.

That’s the usual for heli battles, I’ve suffered through it for many hours when I grinded the Chinese helis, my only advice is use the boosters you get from the assault game mode and try to not die so you can maximize your useful actions

But boosters can only be activated within the first half hour of a match,and player activity is reset every 45 minutes, players are unable to easily accumulate a larger quantity of research points.

Heli grind is horrendous, its either buy it out or buy a expencive ass premium. Regular grinding take ages even with the new mechanics!

I prefer to purchase parts outright when they have a discont, as the pricing for certain high-end helicopter components is quite exorbitant. During non-discont periods, it’s not uncommon to see price tags of between 1000 and 1200 Golden Eagles for a single part. Guess how much I paid for the AH-60’s SPIKE-LR and the MI-28NM’s Vikhr missiles?
unless you decide to do another tree then the misery starts all over again.
I’m still not done with the USA heli tree but started on Russia and Germany… honestly i really dont want to grind them out or even get a premium as it seems like a waste of time and money. Maybe if the premium heli’s were 90% off but that will never happen.
they make it as hard as possible so it makes you really just want to use GE to unlock and move on, its also why none of the helis are foldered and you need full RP for each even if the only difference between the two is one missile or gun.
IDK i use to really enjoy heli but just thinking about the grind makes me want to stop playing.

I use to make 2 million lions per match with 300 booster and prem acct 1 day when all teammates quit. Took about 2 hours to complete pve event solo.
After what I went through I’m definitely never grinding helis again, I’m fine having only one top tier heli tree
