TBF, the chat in Air RB needs to be either monitored by actual Gaijin people or disabled by default.
I usually do NOT see this amount of racial slurs and insults in any of the Ground RB matches.

In my experience it is about 50/50. They really just need to smite those who engage with this rubbish, instead of letting them be toxic tools with no consequences.
GRB is just as bad sometimes, Just with less team killing.
I haven’t even remotely seen the amount of racism that is displayed in Air RB matches.
So yes, GRB can be bad sometimes too, but that is more the exception while the ARB chat it feels like matches without racial slurs are the exception.

Ah yes, because we really should encourage these behaviours instead of addressing the anti social. Frankly, it is not on those who are opposed to Nazis spewing vitriol in chat to close off chat. The tool intending to cause havoc should be locked off from it if they can’t use it appropriately.

I use the chat in Ground RB and I see no reason why I should disable my chat in Air RB just because people feel the need to spread their hate and racial slurs in an online game.
Nobody forces you to read any of it. Nobody forces you to act upon those words either. If you are easily triggered, just disable chat for yourself.
You are not morally superior if you try to take voice away from players over your hurt feelings, quite the opposite actually.
You are the one who suggested disabling chat completely in ARB, so don’t turn this on me.
If you see a slur, all you have to do is ignore it. Or turn profanity filter on. That’s literally all you have to do lmao.

I dunno where you guys are seeing all this racism lol, 90% of chat messages for me are “kys” and such because kids rage when I kill them. But it’s more funny than anything when I see someone rage in chat so I keep it on. I’m grown and can handle seeing a few bad words in chat.
There’s also lots of unfunny “comedians” who are really just annoying.

I rarely see stuff that could be considered genuine, but it isn’t that uncommon to have people try and spell out a racial slur when playing high BR ARB.
grb has less teamkilling, because its one of the few good descisions gaijin made in their entire carreer. disabling team damage for tank warfare. something that should also be done for air warfare. or air to ground.
team damage is only open to abusement.
and you should disable cas in ground mode. im sure that will see an instant drop of hate messages across the board.
the “toxic” people. please dont confuse people who criticize this game with those who simply spread hate and discriminate. those who talk ass in chat, yea, those should be muted.
but honestly, people who criticize this game, and probably often go too far in doing so, do that with the intend to let the developer know, how ever futile that is these days, that things need to change in this game. and gaijin knows this, but they lost touch with the community as a whole. they often dont listen and just push their agenda’s with unneccesary features, like the coming Raytracing technology that nobody asked for, and which the crippling engine of this game cant handle. a game that produces 10 fps on an rtx 4090 simply proves it cant handle such fancy features. and shouldnt handle such features.
