The Ersatz M10 model we have in the game has a muzzle brake on the gun, which the tank didn’t have, as can be seen in historical images. As we know, it was designed to mimic an M10 Wolverine, which also didn’t have a muzzle brake on the gun. So, it’s not a mistake by the German engineers, but rather an error by Gaijin, likely because they copy-pasted an existing Panther model to create the Ersatz in game.
While you aren’t exactly wrong you also have the fact that this photo exist.

Thx, guys, for clarifying that. Still, I continue to support this idea, and maybe there should be a vote for those who want the barrel change. Honestly, the version without the muzzle brake is more in line with the idea of mimicking an M10 Wolverine and not an Achilles or whatever it looks like in the game. Probably due to the urgency of the operation, resources, or a tactical advantage, they couldn’t remove the muzzle brake from those units, but as I said, the versions without the muzzle brake are better representatives of the main idea.
