There are far worse maps in war thunder. Pradesh is actually decent at mid-high brs. At low brs, the map is just a bit too big.

its quite unbalanced in some spots and its verticality certainly makes it quite campy and unfun if your tank is slow or has bad optics
but its quite fun to have long range shootouts in mbt’s

What? Pradesh is literally the single best official ground map in the game. There is no other map which contains such diversity of range, terrain, and flanking routes. If you hate it so much, you hate War Thunder itself.

Absolutely do NOT remove Pradesh from the game. It is one of my absolute favorite maps, actually probably my favorite. There are far far far too many single city block maps in the game that I am forced to suffer playing at top tier tanks. The last thing we need is MORE CQC maps, and less long range maps.

I wasn’t expecting seeing BVV_d’s target audience in plain sight advocating for removal of long range maps where tanks are more appropriate to engage each other creating a more realistic scenario than the Clash Royale-like maps we have to play most of the time.

I don’t particular like the map but I wouldn’t call for a ban on it. It just requires you to play differently is all, and I’ve yet to find all the different routes and control points on it, cos it is one of the few big maps.

Not like this though, more like maybe Super Poland and a larger Fulda, y’know green maps with rolling hills, villages, small towns and other structures, not entirely flat maps where you’re literally on a mountian sniping spawn to spawn, this is almost as bad as 38th parallel and Ash River

The maps i cant stand are stuff like poland or fields of poland. They’re simply to small in teh case of the former and too flat in the latter. Small poland works fine for low tier. but for mid or high its just cancer.

it’s not a bad map, i actually enjoy it between 8.3 and 12.7/13.0.
the problem is that it’s a very open map with not too many spots to hide while having too many spots to shoot at enemies, so u’re straight up dropping everything to luck to not get spotted or hit from the other point of the map.
