Would it be viable make top tier ground based purely on the sim maps that are massive?

I have notice that the maps seem to be “generally” too small the battles end in minutes and that usually results in spawncamping. i am wondering if throwing these maps would make it more enjoyable for players preserving the CQB around the cap points, which would favor Russian type vehicles with large open areas in which you can engage in more ranged battles which would favor more nato type vehicles. it could also help alleviate the spawn camping issue allowing player to intercept the offending side.

a) Personally I prefer the smaller maps, I find it much more fun to brawl than sit in a corner of the map and snipe for the entire duration of a match. Top tier is fast paced and chaotic and I kind of like it that way, my only problem is top tier CAS generally being busted (I haven’t played top tier in a while and havent seen the new SPAA in action, if someone could inform me of how effective they are I would be grateful).

b) if it was purely large scale maps the stock grind for LRF and APFDS (The latter on vehicles from the 9-11.7 BR range).

(For the record I play mostly leopards, other MBTs have their own niche roles but the leopard is generally quite good at everything)

I think it’s still too early to say.
I guess most people don"t have the new AA systems yet and dealing with only one or two at a time is still more than possible as CAS.

But so far i only respect the IRIS which can be pretty busted.
The humvee you can multipath and the others just don’t have the range.

Top tier needs more balance in maps cross the board. Not all vehicles play the same and the constant small map scenario just takes the fun out of it.

Low tier - Small maps norm, large maps sometimes
High tier (8.3 to 10.0+) large maps norm, small maps sometimes

It is called balancing the vehicles to their capabilities to the map.

i mainly play the leopards as well i really dont mind fighting other vehicles with it but like to stay farther from the brawl and pick off targets as they present themselves i feel way to enclosed in these smaller maps tho im in a tank in urban combat places which while tanks have been used are not meant to go. i have good mobility which i cant used due to tight turns and a good gun that is accurate at range whitch again i am not able to make use of due to the maps being mabye 5 klicks im too close to be of any use in these call of duty style of maps. with the cas problem i have the new spaa but if i dont spawn it in imidiatly i dont have time to set up my launcher before getting destroyed by amunition that was fired into my spawn which i dont know what to do about unless i spawn aa early.
adding these larger maps would give aa some space and make cas have to play either whack a mole or chicken because i would have time to spread my aa launchers out and hide my radar unit theoretically helping balance trhe cas problem.

I have the new spaa and the performance is good not great if the cas person knows what they are doing you will be dead if not just typical cas it is very effective you can have some peace on ground .
I really want then to give some more space to new spaa in ground map .

I think making large maps a toggle to opt in to like night battles would be best. This way people who dont enjoy large maps are not forced to play them and you can disable large maps if you are stock grinding.
