no, it would just make people be turned away by the game.
including myself.
Because Repair costs, specially in ARB, a mode with not only repair costs above realistic tanks battles but also being pushed into the same level of depth as a Quake II deathmatch is barely standing because:
1- Arcade rewards like garbage
2-Simulator leeches your SL even if you do well.
…just in your head - because gaijin earns the most money with them.
It is basically like irl - just a few pilots/tankers were good and able to get something done - the rest was food for the meat grinder.
The only thing what needs to be changed is the BR setting policy. As long as as variations of SL/RP income from average players is triggering BR changes nothing will change.
The goal should be that the BRs are determined by the best 5-10% of the players.
This would avoid undertiered vehicles AND would avoid kills solely based on vehicle performance and not player skill. As a side effect this would not make playing wt way more balanced than today…
You are thinking too much about punishing players without even asking why they are unskilled or bad players. Maybe they are not interested in the game and just want to waste an hour or two, maybe they are just having a bad game, with the unbalanced game, appalling BR system for ranking/balance, bad coding, lag in the system, excessive RNG and just plain old cheating.
It is a very poor gaming experience because of the companies decision to go for maximum profit at all costs, the players are just a resource or commodity to be harvested and just like any resource very little if any thought or concern is applied to it.
To make it even worse is very counter intuitive, it will only push players away, decrease the player base, increase queue times ( a priority concern for Gaijin, imagine having to wait longer to play a poor game), and decrease profits.
Players are not even an afterthought to Gaijin if there are glitches or outright errors in any updates they rarely give any reimbursement and almost say well its your fault/decision to play the game.
