The RAAF one is nice because it has different engines and guns, and has options for other loadout options, which makes it quite unique. Its a nice addition
But, the RAF did operate 2x Sabre variants too, and they have been denied because Gaijin doesnt want to C&P them over (Which I find rather ironic given how much they have been defending their use of C&P and how extensively they use it in a laod of other places)
So I think they need to add all 3. I would add one of the 2 RAF ones as a premium or SQV. But definetly would be good to see the Mk4 and Mk6 also added, especially with how… neglected. Britain Rank V has been of late.
Like I said, it’s a cool plane, and more so than a lot of the foreign kit that is being shovelled into the British tree lately, it actually somewhat belongs given that it is overhauled with a British engine and guns.
But that doesn’t change that it has been 10+ years without British Sabres in the British tree, and now the first and currently only Sabre we are receiving is a foreign vehicle.
There are actually 3 variants of the CAC Saber too, I don’t recall the differences of the top of my head though.
I am going to laugh my fing arse off if it turns out this ends up being one of the ones we sold to Indonesia and it’s in the Japanese tree.
Edit: I just re-read the post and it is specified to be going into the UK tree.
Yeah it would make a cool JP squadron plane (they already have a premium and 2 TT Sabers), but I would let the UK tree play with it for a couple of months 1st.
