Sadly the Indonesian Mk.31 is just a myth. Both would be Mk.32 that can use missiles unless Gaijin limit one.

So I was trying to figure out which CA-27 from Indonesia was the alleged Mk.31 to maybe find more detail, like if it was maybe converted to Mk.32 standard (so it would be identical in game), but I found out that it seems to be a complete mistake. Indonesia never had a Mk.31 at all, all of there airframes were built as Mk.32

Mk.32s are A94-943 to 991 and 351 to 372, while Mk.31s would be 901 to 942 only. A94-352 - Mk.32 (crashed on delivery) A94-361 / F-8601 - Mk.32 A94-366 / F-8602…

So the only difference between them is the new 80mm rockets on the Indonesian one.

Gaijin’s rule is that the plane could fire it so then it may get it (balance pending)

Anyway of what we get or don’t the two 30mm ADEN and the new engine with good maneuverability will make her a good plane no matter what. the 6 .50cals where not cutting it in the Japanese tree. I prefer to have less ammo as long as if I make a hit it does something.

I know you’re joking, but I would really like to see an USAF F-86H Sabre or a USN FJ-2/-3M Fury anytime soon. We are not entitled to get CA-27 in the US tree.

The US does need a Sidewinder-slinging Sabre aircraft (I don’t count those FJ-4B aircraft).

USA has plenty of Sabres (and rightfully so), but the CAC Sabre is a foreign-production, foreign service, license-built variant and would go to the UK (Australia) or Japan (Indonesia) under their respective subtrees, or to Malaysia which at 3-for-3 is still an informal subtree of Japan.

Make sure to vote for the late US Sabres!
