something like 60% of the fuselage had to be altered to fit the Avon engine including a significantly enlarge air intake, it also has 2 additional wet plumbed hard points for drop tanks on the outer wing.
So significantly redesigned airframe, different guns, far higher TWR then other Sabers and 2 extra hardpoint (that historically where only used for drop tanks, I’m not sure if they could carry weapons).
I would think that qualifies as a bit better than copy paste.

Fair enough. Its a different plane then. The only thing I was pointing out was, to the uninformed, they are going to look at that and see it looks nearly the same. Its not as visually distinct as say a M4 Sherman with the 75mm versus a Sherman with the 17lb. It looks like a copy and paste F-86.
So why would that matter?

both Malaysia and Indonesia, there is suggestion to add Indonesian ones as well as they had some minor armament modification, although personally think it’ll be redundant if Malaysian one added alongside given Indonesian tree could be given CS-102, Lim-5P, MiG-19S and MiG-21F-13 (albeit too copypaste from USSR MiG line)

A significant part of the airframe was redesigned and altered to accommodate the Rolls Royce engine and new weaponry.

Is there any information on if the outer wing pylons had the wiring for weapons? I know that they where only used for the drop tanks in service, but I can not seem to find anything on if they did have weapons capability that just wasn’t used, although at the very least it doesn’t look like they could uses the AAMs on them.

Last update wasn’t that bad at all. We shouldn’t expect every major update to include a LOT of new and interesting vehicles.
Last update was filled with scandals and bugs.
