Quick question: I wanted to make a suggestion for a idea for a battle pass I thought of, which suggestion tag should I use?

Suggestion and then the type of vehicle (ground, air, etc)
Wait, is it a vehicle or a whole battle pass idea?

Whole battlepass, I was thinking either “other” or “event”

Then use the ‘misc’ tag

Something cool about the Danish (now Argentine) F-16s is that they have a MILDS missile warning system, you can see it on the outer wing pylon.

Unique feature set huh.
Id like that.
Also if Argentina chooses to buy the jf-17 from Pakistan, we can see that too as a great top teir CAS aircraft

I’d say the Jf-17 is unlikely now, given its poor track record and the current Argentine administration’s animosity towards China.

Idk abt track record but i did hear a lot abt american pressure in Argentina to stay away from Chinese affiliated imports.
Yk.
Imperial Americanism

Has gaijin added anything Argentinian that wasn’t a German joint project?

Yeah, the SK-105

There was this:

And while lobbying probably did play a part, there’s no doubt in my mind that of all the aircraft offered to Argentina (Mirage F1, Mirage 2K, Tejas, JF-17, MiG-29, Kfir, FA-50) the F-16 was the best .

Yeah, I’d take anything from the economic times with a pound of salt.
The authors are staunch critics of anything Pakistan and overblow all this news.
Myanmar had around 11 aircraft and ofcourse wanted to make a small squadron. Granted, one or two aircraft suffered structural flaws due to strain or transport, etc, but that automatically means squadron strength is at less than 80%.
Which grounds the whole squadron as per modern military protocol.
The economic Times fr made a huge fuss and an article about when the a Pakistani office ran out of printer paper. 🤦‍♂️
The article itself uses “according to sources” for all its claims.

The fact that the Economic Times is an Indian newspaper and is therefore injected with a healthy dose of partisanship, especially against Pakistan, isn’t lost on me. And while the truthfulness of the reporting can be debated, it is likely that the Myanmar JF-17 fleet has indeed been grounded.

From Argentina’s perspective, this happening during trials is not a good look, especially as the JF-17 is a relatively recent fighter and still has a lot to prove. It would have almost certainly factored into their decision making.

Compare this to the F-16 for which a good argument could be made that it’s the greatest jet fighter in history with a superb track record. Over 4500 built, over 2000 still in service in over 25 countries. Pakistan themselves even use them.

It was always going to be an uphill battle for the JF-17.

oh yes definitely.
sadly for the jeff, the overall benefit as a multirole might not be considered with the… multitude of forces against it

I have a Burmese source that also confirms this

bruh.
this is even worse

though this is unarguably true (sadly for both pk and myanmar)

Following the coup, the European Union imposed sanctions against the Myanmar military and arms brokers, and the Air Force now has no spare parts for the JF-17s, according to analysts and former pilots.
The trade embargo also makes it impossible for the Myanmar military regime to directly buy missiles and bombs for its JF-17s.

Just thought about this, imagine covering the back with bushes and acting like a map prop
