The russians mated 2 different maus tanks into one because the germans failed to destroy the whole lot of them.
And even if they had not, both the turret and the hull were built. Both were meant for the maus project. Afaik the E100 never even had a turret produced at all.

its turret would have been of the D flavour however with an extra 20mm of armour similar to the hull

I do not believe there are any WW2 vehicles being added for ground this update. The M55 and T58 kinda fit in this catagory, but not really (though they are still great additions).
Last update we technically got a bunch of WW2 tanks, but all of them were full copy-pastes.
The update before that we got the Harry Hopkins and French/German armored car, both of which were decent aditions, but that’s extremely little for over half a year of updates.
The update before that we only got a couple copy-paste vehicles.

The update before that we got the M6 with the 90mm and a new KV model, though this one was a premium.
The update before that we got 0 WW2 vehicles for ground.
The update before that we got a German SPAA and that’s it.

easily forgettable unless youve played the ram 2, the tanks an absolute blast and having the same armour at a lower BR (because of a worse gun) is great news
True, I’m looking forwards to that thing. Very glad it’s a tech tree vehicle as well.
But again, it’d be nice to get more than between 2 and 0 new WW2 vehicles every once in a while. I just checked, and in 2023 we also only got a handfull of new things

WE LOVE COPY PAAAAAAASTE!!! Fr though, I don’t necessarily have a problem with copy paste, the problem is how it’s being implemented, and the fact that we’re getting pretty much nothing but copy-paste

Leviathans added 29 WW2 capable vehicles.
3 were German tech tree, all unique.
Hornet’s sting added 20, and that’s not counting the light-armored artillery USSR got, and not counting the 7 WW1 vehicles.
2 were German, + 3 German WW1 tanks.
Many to most are naval cause old news flash: Naval is behind air and ground by years.
Air was behind ground by 2 years despite being put into the game first.
SPAA was behind by 3 years.
