will the typhoon be getting Meteor missiles in the next major update? i feel that they are lacking in the way of missiles

no it wont.

they are sticking with AIM-120C5 as the “best” radar missile. (aim 120B turns better at closer ranges to i find it better)

We are probably not going to see them until the “fifth gen” jets appear.

Nope. It would be unfair for the Typhoon to have a missile on-par with MICA EM, R-77-1, Aim-120D or PL-12A

they will get aim120d not meteor.

only loser in the next update are r77-1 one

Nope. Already been confrmed, we are stuck with Aim-120B and B5 for the forseeable future

No. EFT would get no missile next update unless something changes. Meteor would probably be added along side with AIM-174B, MICA NG , R-37, PL-15 and so on

Lets face it. It wont be happening. Still waiting on the EFT to get its UV Filter.

If the US and/or USSR steamroll, its correct balance.

If a minor nation steamrolls, its incorrect balanace.

The likelyhood is that nothing will happen, until we get Meteors to counter F-22s with Aim-120D3s

well at least uk will get 120D with the f18. sure it will not be able to use the missile at 100% capacity

I meant R-37m.

AMRAAMS are also slower than it, AIM54 has top speed of approximately MACH 5. Also if i am not mistaken even meteor is slower than AIM 54 with meteor having top speed of approximately mach 4 (i could be very wrong about meteor though. I would re check)

Well… here’s hoping they actually remember to fix some EFT bug reports. Maybe finally fix BOL, only been 2 years since the nerfs based upon a nonsense report

Mach 3.5-4 I think is the guestimated speed of it, but… the strength of Meteor isnt in max speed, but the fact it maintains that speed for a chunk of its flight time, and so it can do 100 ish km in about 90 seconds

Aim-54 likely is faster for the first 10-15km and then its slower
