@Smin1080p_WT With the news of Japan Receiving the Thailand Air sub tree it has made me question weather the R2Y2 will stay in-game as the Thai F-84G would Be 7.7-8.0 thanks in advance for the response!

They are not planned to be removed from research with the launch of this major update. However in the future, this may well be revisited.

When they were going to remove the german tanks, they announced it ahead of time to give people a chance to get rp into them.
Same should happen with the r2y2. Just get 1rp in it and you wont have to worry.

I already have them but I asked as I am the owner of a squadron with a lot of newer players that would miss out on them forever

I hate to see em go but it’s for the best I think, better to remove the fakes than add more in the future. Maybe we’ll get the r2y2 thing test mabob with the prop on it instead
Been telling folks it wouldn’t. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if they reappear just like theMauss but in this context: for the Japan anniversary or stuff related to that.
nah, the maus is at least real, just hard to balance and heavily sought after. This is more of a panther II or king tiger 105 situation tbh.
The Maus only by technicality exists. The same with the E-100. Neither exists like they would have. What’s on display and in the footage is merely 2 somewhat functional hulls and a turret.
The R2Y2 however while it wasn’t built doesn’t stop the fact that it was considered and the engines were ready. So once again this still falls under technicality. Even then other lesser-known vehicles have been reappearing for certain specific events/special days.
Gonna Grind them now just incase
I wonder if Gaijin will reduce the BR to make more players notice that, after removing the air respawn, R2Y2 is like a hot sausage in the sky.
