Will the M728 CEV go on sale this year like last year?

Do any of you know if the M728 CEV will return this year like last one?
I bought GE and waited for today, (the day it was released last year for purchase).

Honestly I’m not sure, I’ve been waiting too and so far there’s nothing said about the release…

That´s odd.
It says it should have been available by now.
Maybe just some technical issues. The server hamster has not been well recently.

Yeah, but that shows that it was “shown between 2025-03-14 and 2025-03-17”, or in other terms, this datamine was about last year.

Neither of you have seen the arrow? That’s the old state, the new state is simply “shown”. Meaning it’s the “M728 CEV is back and is here to stay” in Gaijinspeak.

No, it doesn’t. I said that in that update (2.54.0.21 on dev, 2.53.0.124 on dev stable) the M728 CEV will be shown.
Neither of those updates are on live (2.54.0.123) yet.

Does this mean it will be available by the next major update or just a smaller patch?
I´d assume by it still being 2.54 that it is just a minor update. Is that assumption correct?
I´m sorry if I am poorly informed but I rarely deal with this side of the game.

Just a smaller patch, tomorrow, as the US Army Corps of Engineers anniversary is on the 16th.
The only reason it was on the 14th last year was because the 16th was Sunday, and when an event would fall on a weekend, Gaijin does it on Friday. That’s not the case this year.

I have been scouring old dev blogs and updates for any Info for hours now and got nothing solid except the old dates. This has been very dread inducing as I feared it could be gone forever, since Gaijin sadly does gatekeep some rather neat tanks.

Now as of today, I have not gotten any update nor any news about it going on-sale again. Maybe that´ll happen later?

It’s here to stay, as that file-diver found out correctly. So I’d wait for the May sales since then it’ll be 50% off instead of just 30%
