ah, fair enough. thats up to gaijin sadly, they know these planes can get those systems, but its “balancing” decision. Kinda like the frecnh F1Cs got the Phimat pods, despite already having the largest CM count at their own BR.
I ment non top tier vehicles as well. Also I stated “modified” not “better”.
The problem is the Abrams doesn’t have any “Armour” other than the turret cheeks which they exist in the Challenger.
Biggest reason is the Finnish Hornet has the worst CAS loadout of all hornets, which happens to be the trend… regardless its how gaijin balanced giving them BOL. They are less effective for ground so they gave them their BOL that they use in service to give them something unique unless you’d like to explain to the class all the downsides the other 14.0 Finnish hornet has?

Thats a little different because for example israel they took a OLD sherman and put a newer cannon so that makes sense. For modern tech no it doesnt.

For 440kg reduced weight (no A2G computers) you get, a worse RWR making K band invisible, you get no HMD, and you get no CAS and because of less modules its a longer grind for valuable mods, also no Aim 7P so its straight from 9L’s to 9M’s then gotta wait for tier 4 to get Aim 120.

In my opinion, the Abrams should be kept to the US tech tree. Also South Korea would be a great addition as a subtree since lots of their stuff originated from American tech.

Not every decision is made based on their usual stated logic. Some decisions are made to plug various holes in line ups. I don’t think the Aussie Abrams will hit the British tech tree. If it addressed what they felt was a hole in the line up… well, all bets are off. (Ex. Skink)
The Russian T-90S in Indian service went to the UK. Gaijin just pick and choose as they like.

(Now i get the usa is an export nation. But like, is the world so unproductive that the usa has to be in every single TT to the point its C/P?)
Ima assume it will definitely happen to the abrams in a few years or so where everyone that could get one will get one do to “Balance”. (Cant wait to see the ussr one’s uproar)
