You clearly do no know how or when to use what was the most dominant and oppressive missile in the game the R-27ER…did you even know that you can hit people 3 meters off the ground by shutting off your radar and letting its IOG do the work something that sparrows couldnt do ( except some left out of game because they where considered to OP by someone’s logic…so sorry mig and suk fanboys have to do something other than fly straight to targets and kill them nowadays…be happy that you will get to enjoy shooting down helpless Nighthawks soon

The infamous stealth launch and IOG finisher, I clearly am not good enough to play russian jets without mastering such techniques. Hopefully they move the su27 and mig 29 up next decompression to account for this.

Even if you do understand, the Flanker/29SMT are not capable of effectively doing BVR.
Because you don’t understand people don’t mean that every single russian vehicle is OP and rather mean they get preferential treatment overall?
They do have best toptier SARH, which outranges AMRAAMs for example.
Except it doesn’t in practice. You can’t fire a R27ER and guide it while also avoiding the AMRAAMs coming at you, and the R27ER does NOT reach the target at long range at an appreciable enough time to give you time to maneuver after the fact either. When I say russian bias I mean things like pantsir and other biased elements of the game

Also, you dont need to point your nose direcrly onto the target, somewhere in like 55(if not 60) gimbal limit will be fine
Still, AMRAAM is the only thing that can confidently launch at 20+ km, (except off course FK90), and even PL12 which is remotely close is more of a 15km max thing, nevertheless R77. I think the other thing is not only is R77 inferior but also Mech, thus why many instead find SMT much easier to play with
Again, doesn’t matter. They fire 1-2 amraams then go defensive while you can’t go defensive. You can crank and everything. As long as you’re flying in a way that enables you to still track, you will be hit by the AMRAAM around the same time at best when the R27ER connects. R27ER can’t defeat AMRAAM consistently.
If they do go full defense - why you cant? Religion? Gender? Etc?
Even if you will have an AMRAAM in that case - theres will be very low chances of doing smth usefull in result of that.

PL-12 has near to identical practical range, in compare with AMRAAM. But turns better.

Not even close, they tested and it was in practical slower than R77 at even longer ranges like 20+ km, IDK why cause from experience it shouldn’t be, but me and my friend tested it and unfortunately it was not far from the truth, the missile has just a huge dip in performance post sth. like 15km, which is 1st round of AMRAAM starts to approach, if not FK90
Basically, Russian jets past 12.7 just have terrible flight performance, the worst Fox 3’s, and shit radars compared to majority of what they face. The Mig-29’s and Su-27’s not getting flight model buffs yet is laughable.
