Why US stuck in 1995?

No, typically only 10km with the effectiveness of its targeting system.

You can also use the 65G, which limits you down to 1 per pylon but has far better range and damage.

Wait until you hear about this mystical thing called a tree, or hard cover.

There is quite literally no equal to it in terms of effective weaponry. They are purpose-built for a specific doctrine of ground attack.

Can’t say anything about tanks since I know nothing about them, but Russia has a lot of stuff from the early 90s that is much better than the relatively cheap upgrade programs also called Su-27SM and MiG-29SMT. For example the MiG-29M is from 1991 and whipes the floor with the SMT in all aspects apart from radar range

So basically the Russians are even a decade or more behind the soviets in terms of tech :D

This game isn’t time of introduction dependent.

Basically yes lmao, most Russian stuff until Su-35 are attempts to implement almost finished soviet tech to their current vehicles (SMT for example takes MiG-29M avionics and puts them, together with a bigger fuel tank, on original MiG-29 airframe. Su-27SM doesn’t even bother replacing the radar rather it just upgrades the original one). This is what happens when economy goes kaput (and also when you lose important research centres such as what Ukraine was).

you’re not making any sense. OP states that USA is stuck in 1995. I am simply proving him wrong

OP Specifically mentions weapons though.

Hellfire on the AH-64D is pre-1995, maybe as early as 1982
F-15 MSIP II uses Aim-120As (1991) and Aim-9M (1983)

I have no idea what shell the Abrams uses of the top of my head nor when it entered service, but fairly certain it does use a much earlier shell than that from 2008. Could be as early as something like L27A1 which is like 1990s.

AGR-20 might be the ONLY NATO weapon from this centuary, I cant think of any others that are newer.

Meanwhile something like KH-38 I think is more like 2012 (which i assume is the weapon he is complaining about)

If the game was balanced by era not performance, you would be facing things like Brimstones 2s with 60km FnF capabilities and aircraft that could carry as many as 18 of them. But instead, you only have to deal with aircraft with AGM-65 and an effective of maybe 10-15km

And yet the Su-27SM is also using weapons from pre-1995

By 2007 the Su-27SM3 would be an available. You’d have R-74M '750s on both the Su-27SM and Su-27SM3, as well as 77-1s.

thats the T, i can use the TE out to around 15

AIm-9X/ASRAAM/IRIS-T and Aim-120C5s still out class those right? By quite a bit (let alone the aircraft that carry them)

im well acquianted lol
i hate those

i doesnt they both have scencially the same seeker just a longer lunch range, you can see that on the spread sheet, they all have a “lock-on from all aspect” of 12 km like the agm 65b, but thats is basically on the ideal scenario you wont be getting a “track” under 8km.

no the TE, and TD have a better seeker

they dont they still use a tv seeker

uhhh it IS a TV seeker…

And the Su-27SM is using the R-73 (1984) and R-77 (1990)

Current ammunition is 829A2 from 1994, with its proper ammunition being 829A3 from 2002.
I’d be all for this being added if more mid-2000s Russian tanks were added.

We skipped straight from a glorified 1993 vehicle (T-90A) at 10.7 to a 2016 upgrade of the 1990’s T-72BA (T-72B3 ['11-'16]).
No T-72BA1 (10.7 with decomp, 10.3 as current), no T-72B2 (11.3/11.7 depending on state of other vehicles), not even interesting variants like the T-72AG/UMG (1997, could be 10.7/11.0), T-72UA (10.3 with decomp), T-72BM2 (11.7, effectively making the T-72B3 what it should have been with the B2), so on.
There are FAR more T-80 variants to add, as well as fixing the T-80B and T-80U variants as they are in-game.

Also… Nakidka when?

With literally 90% of the vehicles I just listed, M829A3 would be perfectly balanced.
The only reason why it wouldn’t be is because there are TWO vehicles with Relikt at top tier in-game.

M829A2; DOI is 1993 if I remember correctly.

T-90A is from 2004…

You’re thinking of the T-90 Obr. 1992 which had a cast turret here.

Do you not realize that the M1A2 Seps V2 was entered into service in 2006->2008? Somewhere within those numbers.
