I took the screenshot mid simulation to prove that it actually penetrates in a easy shot, from 2km away
Yeah so you trust the stats and not the in game battle information great
Dude i am a big time brit main i know what APCBC does in game, its consistent and with that amount of punch (more than the APCBC of the 17pdr) its going through a tiger like its made of cheese
you shot the lower part of the turret where the games gonna calculate you hitting the floor of the turret and not the side. it does the same for every shell in game. Even modern darts will void there, that was a badly aimed shot, not the fault of the gun
Okay…my bad then
As someone who uses the tog2, basically same gun and same br, i agree.
It is a very solid gun for 5.3
That vehicle has among the best round at 5.3.
The fact your post implies Tiger 1’s round is terrible is hilarious.
I don’t use this tank very often but I have the Tog II which has the same gun which I play quite often.
The 94mm OQF cannon is awesome, there’s nothing wrong with it. It pens all tanks in this BR bracket with little to no difficulty.
The problem with it is everything else, the poor mobility, poor gunhandling, no protection etc. I find it very hard to understand why this tank is at 5.3 when the TOG II* is at 5.3 and is better in every way with the only parity being the Cannon.
I think 3.7 Ram would be a good candidate for BR4.3 or BR4.7
ohno
nothing else at that BR, and the next 3BRs has Proxy fuses
TOG 2 has a gun using the same 3.7 inch barrel but is substantially more punchy however the general sentiment is still that its one of the best shells for the BR
jesus dude
A genuine skill issue
It’s the same rounds, with the same penetration and damage, and even reload.
Huh???
He’s just that good
Didnt realise they just C&Pd the togs gun when the 28pdr is related but quiet different to the 3.7in
yea you can frontally kill top tier tanks really easy with the tog
