Sounds good, then you realise that 3x nations will be getting the Typhoon, France will have the Rafale and Sweden the Gripen… they will ALL be lobbing Meteors as soon as they take off.
And with 12v12 games would last 90 seconds in your example since there’s less players to frag.

Rafale & Typhoon are next year items, as it’s superior to 12.3s by far.
And Meteors would be minimum 14.0, likely 14.3 - 15.0.
Less players to frag also means less players fragging you. Furballs become less likely and threats can be properly managed. All of this means the lifespan of players is increased, which results in longer matches, even with meteors.

There will always be Meteors on both sides so matches will be over immediately. 12v12 or 16v16 it makes no difference when there are potentially 40+ Meteors going in each direction at the same time.
Knowing Gaijin I expect its going to be more like 12.6/12.9 since it kills them to even consider doing sensible things like appropriate BR segregation. They will also be within bullying range of AMRAAM/R77 launching platforms since (Rafale aside) they were themselves AMRAAM based platforms until the Meteor came online in the last few years.
Haven’t opened the game for a few days. Just over the shitshow of imbalance. Kinda sad I’ve reached a point where I just do not enjoy the crappy gameplay at top tier jets. I’d love to play the early jets more but the power creep has expanded there too, Too many op missile carriers 3rd partying ANY fun engagements at that level.
- Revise the BR’s from 8.7-12.3. Maybe even increase BR max level to further decompress.
- subsonics vs supersonics? who wants this?
- Make sabres vs early migs fun again
- bigger maps OR spread out the bomb objectives etc / Decrease number of planes per flight out.
