“X stated Y” is not a proof unless printed on a peer-reviewed / state document my guy.
You don’t need to tell me that russian lies. their exports are dogshit enough to warrant replacement in half the time average american export need replacement. straight up noped and look for replacement.
I dont know what variant but if i have to guess no less then 2a7
Lol yes it is
And considering that idf keeps its secrets it can be way more
Also ofc all this armor come at the cost of being 75+tons
Or how do u explain this much weight?
I guess noone can explain that really
Same case as Challenger 2TES being heaviest among Challenger 2 yet offer nothing (used to be better that kornet can’t pen it before nerfed)
75 ton of CE screen on top of one another lmao
Zero sources or pictures to your claim, not to glaze Israel but their tanks are 80tons for a reason and they can carry infantry too for a reason which is superior protection to any threat, but yeah go ahead and talk more nonsense.
there’s also zero source to IDF claim about it’s KE protection. we’re even.
Go ahead and check this, any sources beside the ones that been published here are totally classified, so there’s literally no point of asking about specific KE protection value because you would find none.

I don’t know I think it’s in a really good spot. Even if the turret and body lacks armor it doesn’t matter at top tier as much. Merkava also have optical detection, Proxy Rounds, LWS, APS, reverse gearbox. It also had a short barrel making it dominate urban environments (even if war thunder allows barrels to go through walls). Sitting up higher but your crew sits lower is also an advantage if rounds go through you. Armor should be the last reliance at top tier or even after 9.0 (Except Russia their ERA balances a lot of its poor performance). Personally I did not suffer at all with Israel starting with the best Sherman in the game.
Edit: Give it mobility is a better buff but in my opinion unnecessary.
I can’t trust these stats. Game after game in USA we blow out Russia. The real challenge is when it’s Germany vs USA. Russia has OP helicopters and a lot of helicopter spammers. I feel most start with USA and switch. Russia isn’t the easiest nation but Japan dominating feels accurate as I am now on my 5th nation to top tier and with experience those glass cannons are vicious in Japan. I don’t want to imagine how lethal I’m going to be when I get a 4sec reload time. Japan lacks Proxy rounds with its optical detection but I’m not complaining can’t have it all.
Example: noobs in click baits are no threat. Experienced tanker in click bait is lethal mobility is king of top tier.
Merks are underpowered. Namers are underpowered. Gaijin uses selective realism. Bmpt is the greatest example of it
Here are the past month stats of the Merkava Mk.4M from two sources.
Thunderskill: Requires gamer verification through live people then stats are used meaning it removes a lot of the bot accounts that utilize scripts where accounts are being grinded then sold later. Bot accounts are rampant and Gajin knows it with banning accounts left and right.
Sharkstat: Using the past 2 months.
Thunderskill out of 1k battles:
Sharkstat with plot diagram:
Merkava on both fronts is working very well. It does not need a buff with a good K/D and in Thunderskill for people who sweat the stats are even HIGHER.
Merkavas when I used them are decked out and performs above average.
Merkavas honestly don’t look that bad, especially not bad enough for a substantial buff.
You know even the first merkava was made to also survive tank vs tank engagements, as a lesson from the heavy cassualties from Six Day War and Yom Kippur War, when Magach and Centurion crews got burns or killed in action by the low armor and survivability of the tanks.
actually, the crews in the magachs and sho’ts were being destroyed by infantry teams hiding close to the battlefield, not by tank-to-tank combat, yes maybe merkava did fought against some T-72s but NO it was mostly made for Urban combat.
I can’t even imagine someone denying the fact that modern Merkavas are purpose-built for CQC and not for some tank on tank engagements against stuff slinging state of the art darts, as we all know Israel’s main enemies aren’t that advanced technologically speaking.
israel doesnt face tanks since 1982, whats the point of creating the merkava for tank-to-tank combat if its only enemies are Infantry
85% winrate is crazy good and possibly OP lol. Def the players not the tank lol
Yeah mainly it was for CQC especially the later models (mk4), but still the armor was strong enough to survive T-54/55 shots or even T-64 ones.
