acturlly, SU27 is not the most op jet in this upgrade, JAS39 is :P
SU27 is a missile bus but not a good dogfighter in game

It’s a decent airframe that has a monopoly on SARHs, since Sparrows are irrelevant with the latest patch, so it and the later Mig 29s we have in game are the only things that have any kind of lethality, combine that with R-73 ×6 and it has an armament that nothing can match.
Really the first thing Gaijin should do to remedy this is fix whatever is causing the issue with Sparrows and French Sarhs.
