Why russian tank have coded in game perks?

@Circleati @BazieStook This gonna devolve into an insult match. Can you 2 reiterate your points and go back on forth on them?

Same reason I would - an after lunch nap! :)

But alas I am working from home today, and I got to at least appear to be awake and do a bit of work every now and then for another 90 minutes :/

But it’s the last day before a long weekend, and enthusiasm is low, so here I am…

Ah, forgot one. Oh well. That goes for you aswell piano

OP is just a typical NATO main flexing about having 20 years of experience of him repeating the same mistakes. Every time he tryna flex about his experience, it’s like the Wi-Fi at a cheap hotel that shows up, but it never actually works when you need it.

To be fair to them math is hard :(

this is all a coincidence and remember one of the russian developers said he likes to play sweden so no bias
you also have alvin wisla guy who patrols this forum and will tell you every tank has this problem and how it benefits other tanks more than russsiaaaaaa tanks like you never played the game.
he will also add at random he is not russian

what does?

Just trying to keep this from turning into a pissing match. (But its on you guys after this post)

The ariete had blowout panels for literal years so yeah it does happen to every nation

The only “artificial buff” to russian tanks that exists is that FCS and battle management systems dont properly exist as they work in reality, because that would be hard to implement while having this still remain a fun video game and also would be hella nato biased
Imagine the t90a just straight up not getting a minimap that would be hilarious

We were talking about BRs above 9.0, and you’re doing really poorly there. Looks like Russian mains are just farming kills off you.

This isn’t about weak spots that exist on real-life armor — it’s about the ones Gaijin intentionally adds to Western vehicles. Like the 200 mm mantlet plate on the Challenger 2, the hollow mantlet on the Leclerc, the turret ring on the Abrams. Or the downright absurd case of the 127 mm mantlet on the Patton, which the community fought against for years — including a guy who literally went to a museum with a tape measure, took photos, and posted them on the forums.
So yeah, you can take your sarcasm and shove it.

Why are you even opening your mouth about skill issues when you can’t play the game yourself?

ah, seems i misunderstood your post earlier. Thought you were ganging with bazie against circ. My b

Wow! The only one? What about the Soviet ERA that tanks shells designed specifically to defeat it? And what happened to the Kh-38MT, which probably exists only as a prototype or even just a paper concept? And the Russian anti-aircraft guns — are those all fine too?

Australia?
I’m sitting in bed getting ready to sleep now.

K5 is defeated by DM53 and M829A2 in-game at 2km. 2km is perforation limit IRL, which is not simulated in War Thunder, so you have to drop that distance down to ~1.4km to penetrate.
All ammo does this, including 3BM60.
Barely perforating wouldn’t do any notable damage anyway.

What happened with Kh-38MT is identical to what happened with Hammer. IR seeker from AGM-65D when it should be an entirely different system that’s arguably worse.
Whether it’s real or fake is another issue.

All i know is that when volumetric models were added, russia got the most tanks retrofitted to take advantage of it with more detailed models. Then when brit tanks were added to volumentric modeling, they were imediately moved up multiple BRs.

When internal compartments were added, russia got the most vehicles retrofitted to take advantage of it. I’m not saying its explicit bias, but brits STILL don’t have engine bays for nearly any of their tanks modeled so you get overpressured by engine hits constantly. Meanwhile the tanks most suseptable to HESH(russian high angled plates) somehow got their internal compartments that block all hesh spalling added near instantly.

APHE is still king after how many years with APDS and HESH being non-functional for many vehicles. Russia and germany are the primary users of APHE. We have had eras where HEATFS was better than APHE, but of course that was nerfed. We had eras where HESH was functional. But of course that was nerfed. Who is the primary nation advantaged by these changes… who doesn’t use those rounds as often… A whole lot of coincidences in this game. And i can say for certain that if the game isn’t biased towards russia, it certainly is against brits.

Also we were talking about 9.0 to 10.7 in which

  1. I dont believe I have a tank that ive played within the last year and a bit there with lower than probably 0.75 kd which isnt “really poorly”
  2. I wouldnt say anyone “farms” its a pretty even spread of what countries i fight and what nation tanks kill me

Is the kh38MT a russian tank? because I did say that I was talking about russian tanks specifically
