because they are more often than not bad players who generally drive in the open. the experience from lower br’s where russian can go and stop in the middle unbothered - they learned this way and bring it top br’s too where it doesn’t work so easily.

Russia also really doesn’t dominate top tier. If you’ve played 12.0 since the 13.0 CAS changes, you notice that CAS isn’t that oppressive anymore. I’ve died a single-digit number of times to CAS after that update. Russian tanks are largely subpar, with them only having 1 good top tier MBT, the T-80BVM. Compare this to the likes of 12.0 Germany, which has a fantastic lineup of Leo 2s even beyond just the 2A7. Yes, Pantsir is a powerful SPAA, however its not CAS that wins 12.0 games, its tanks. And new SPAA are being introduced next update, which are always changing, so its hard to really tell how good they’ll be.
