Why radar won't turn off when am in HMS PD

Hello. When I am in the HMS PD mode, the radar won’t turn off unless I Switch back to any other mode
but I don’t understand why the radar won’t turn off in HMS PD mod is this a bug or am I doing something wrong

You mean the small green square that’s visible all the time? That’s just an indicator in the HMS PD mode I believe. The radar is not emitting unless you lock something.

i think he means if he clicks “lock” and it just keeps pulsing no matter what and it doesnt stop i have the same issue

oh, i think i’ve seen a very similar bug with ACM mode or something, i just power cycle the radat to reset it
