Why NATO IFVs autocannons are so BAD?

I think I found your issue if you corner camp with autocanon vehicles, moreso the Jaguar that is at it’s core an aluminium can…
If you get one of Gaijin’s awful CQB map, just leave, or spawn a more adapted vehicle.

They either have one singular cannon, useless spikes, bad TOWs or no ATGMs at all…

There’s no such thing as Russian bias.

It was a joke that started back in patch 1.35 when the Yak-3P was first added. In 2015, some people decided to turn the joke into something serious when Gaijin mistakenly added a later round to the IS-2. Since then, every once in a while, people revive it to express dislike towards Russia whenever it seems to excel at something in a period of time, but have always ignored other nations whenever they got the same treatment (and they always did, but it’s funnier and better for coping when Russia gets the attention instead).

It’s still ongoing because every cycle of new players fall for it.

Dear Lord no, I know that I’m dead meat if I dare entering into very short fights against Russians in a french vehicule…

I just flank all games long, because it’s the only thing I can do…

well if you dont how to use them, thats on you, things like the dardo or freccia wipes the floor with any russian ifv, the only ones that’s arguably better is the bmp2M, personally i much rather use them over the bmp

Not every NATO MBTs have it

Russia does… and China… mmh…

There was a time when .50 cals used to one tap planes, while Russian 20mm, 23mm and 37mm sparked or failed to do damage most of the time. The P-47D was 3.7 for years, overall the US tech tree had the lowest repair costs and the most favourable battle ratings for years. The MiG-9 was also 8.0 fighting F-86s and Hunters for a long time, while the F-80 and F2H were going up against late war props. Japan used to get airspawns, UFO flight models and other advantages over every nation on Pacific maps, the Tiger tanks were undertiered for a long time, etc etc.

I have not been paying much attention towards the game recently as much as I used to, but I’m realising that NATO currently has an advantage over Russia in top tier with better missiles, AESA radars and much better CM ammo.

See, if you’ve only grinded out a nation or two, your perspective is going to be skewed towards one side and you also choose to look at things favourably to what you currently have in the game.

It’s always the people who never grind out several more nations that call out bias.

Yes actually. 16x JAGM vs 8x LMUR, a tradeoff.

Not every russian mbt has it… only t90M/a has it, literally the ones who benefitted the most over the IRST on mbts were israel, which all merkavas over 11.3 has this feature sure not technically nato but nato adjacent.

Thing is with all these past said bias… it’s in the past… the russian bias remains…

Look at my past topics… 12.7 GRB Russia objectively beats NATO forces 8 games out of 10…

US has it in the form of MPAT.
Germany has it on the 2A7.
Britain has it on the CR3 TD.
Japan does not get it.
Italy has it on the 2A7HU.
France does not get it, but atleast they have EBRC with proxy.
Sweden does not get it either, but they have CV90s with proxy.
Israel gets it on all their 120mm Merks.

Lol, nice ragebait. Also, where are the 16 ATGMs on Tiger helicopters ?

Are spikes missiles equivalent to russian ATGMs carried on their IFVs ? I want to hear you…

Yes they are. Except for one detail that is the lofting a mi28nm has about the same efficiency with those like a fully equipped ah64e.

8 LMURS usually give 8 kills or at least 7 kills unless the target smokes or manages to make them miss somehow by moving behind cover quickly after launch or next to another ir source like dead tanks. No matter what they are targetting. They have 15 km range and mach 0.9 (~306 m/s speed at sea level at whatever point after launch that is measured) and 19 kg of tnt equivalent with ir, iog and gnss guidance

16 JAGMS usually kill an mbt with 2 missiles per target if the target is hit (doesnt smoke off or makes the missile miss somehow), which arguably is a bit easier due to the difference in lofting (which basically only matters on obstructed maps like city maps) with the JAGMS and THAT is the only thing in which they unjustifiably differ. If they get similar lofting it will not be “only” basically equal but actually.
Because 1 JAGM grants a guaranteed kill on any light armored target like ifvs, SPAAs and also non ldircm helis. They have 16 km range and 340 m/s speed (at whatever point after launch thats measured) and 4,8 kg of tnt equivalent with IR and iog guidance

With a full loadout on a Mi28nm you can hope to kill 8 spaa vehicles if none of your missiles get intercepted (unlikely.)
With a full loadout on a ah64e you can hope to kill 12 SPAA or light vehicles EVEN IF 4 of them get intercepted.

Your perspective is really biased.

New content keeps being rolled out as the game is regularly updated, so the balance of power always shifts. Like many others, you never seem to notice that because you’re fixated on one side.

Besides, NATO still has big advantages over Russia in top tier air, and in top tier ground, the Leopard 2A7 is still the dominant force.

Again, you have not tried any of these vehicles, so you would not know.

They are not equal to JAGM, LMUR, or BA-11.

Spike Tigers and AH-60 used to be the top dog Helis before LDIRCM and more FnF, now they are just dead because of powercreep.

Ariete, Leclerc, Chally, Type 10, Strv don’t have it at 12.3-12.7… some don’t even have IRST…

Its a pretty niche feature that really doesn’t affect gameplay at all.

Britain does not have it on 12.7 MBTs… Italy needs a c/p to get it (not on Ariete)… not all very modern NATO MBTs have it… mmh…
