Same armament with the T26 but instead of heavy armour it just got a slightly better mobility, and while having the 90mm but didn’t get the HEAT-FS, why doesn’t it at 6.0 or 6.3?
it a m26 from ww2, HEAT-FS wasnt even a thing at that time for tanks.
Same as the m36 but the later got the HEAT-FS

The only problem I see with the M26 is that the 90mm gun, especially with the T33 ammunition, may not be able to penetrate the Panther frontally.
It’s garbage when you have the T26E5 but it can’t really go down to 6.3 since then it would constantly fight tigers, just a victim of compression
M26 was 6.3 for years and wasn’t overpowered

So either decompress, or indeed send it to 6.3.
Tigers can fight it just fine, the M26 is not a very tough nut to crack, and is hardly superior to the Panthers overall, one of the latter (D) being hilariously undertiered as well.
I’m more for decompressing than dropping it in BR though, as decompression also means the King Tigers can go up and stop nuking 5.7-7.0 lobbies
