SEP2 was a good addition. Stop hating on the Abrams. That’s like saying T-80BVM was useless for Soviets, unneeded hate.
@Hashbrown19@USAARMY369
Cause the version we have doesn’t have them IRL either.
Nothing to do with balance.
@HOMINUSNOCTURNO
Biased in what way? NATO having the best CAS for 3 years straight, absolutely unkillable.
NATO having the best MBTs and light tanks since 2019.
Germany getting a battleship before everyone else have equals.
Well as per ADA339744 they got most of the way to a production variant, though the resultant “M6 Launcher” was not yet planned to be automated at the time the report was written(1997). But the automatic deployment mode had been demonstrated.
Who knows exactly what has happened in the intervening time, but steps have been taken towards automatic deployment upon detecting a threat in some way.
they are talking about iron fist and similar
not self deploying smoke launchers, no vehicle in the game has that feature even if multiple would have
their was the offical statement by gajin that they dont wanna do self deploying smokes since that would hurt the playerbase more most of the time etc etc
No the SEPv2 was a terrible addition. All it should have been was an armor upgrade package on the SEP which is all it is. The fact that when Gaijin marketed it’s addition 1 of the bullet points was the addition of crows in a game like WT is an absolute joke in itself.
I still find it incredibly annoying how the most major thing that the SEPv2 could have in game that would make it better than the SEP wasn’t even added. It’s just a heavier, slower SEP.
Somehow Alvis didn’t reply because he himself doesn’t even know what’s the good thing about it, literally the worst thing that got added in the US Tech Tree.
I wouldn’t call him a bot persay just someone who likes to go against the grain which I don’t have a problem with. Hell I have found myself agreeing with him on certain things. That being said he does a have habit of trying to make hot takes to be contradive in topics that he could have just ignored for some reason.
It’s literally the same exact weakspot as SEP1 and M1A2.
It’s another spawn at top BR, 2 instead of 1.
@Thenighthunter
Well, you’re more than able to go play arcadey games instead if you’re going to worry about what DCS, War Thunder, etc do.
@dotSHINI
When has me defending NATO vehicles been complaining?
When has me saying the Ka-50 is good ever been me saying otherwise?
When has me saying Pantsir is good against GBU slingers and helicopters been saying it’s bad?
You have to be talking about yourself cause I’ve never done any of the things you’ve falsely claimed.
@Kenny110 calling all NATO defenders “bots”…
Keep complaining about NATO stuff, Kenny.
I’ll keep defending NATO from those that constantly complain without reason.
It’s a critique on your post over-thinking War Thunder.
If playing simulators causes you to over-think, and the over-thinking is causing you stress…
All you can really do is stop being stressed or remove the stressor.
SEP2 is variety, that’s what it is; that’s all it needed to be.
Just like 2A6 vs 2A5. 2A6 is an extra spawn despite being identical to 2A5 in playstyle/gameplay.
Strv 122A vs 122B.
T-80U vs T-80UK.
Type 99 prototype [WZ10 something] vs Type 99A.
All variety, all a 2nd spawn.
If SEP2 was actually better and warranted a new BR, then that would no longer be a 2nd spawn now would it?
M829A3 making it up to 12.7?
Trophy potentially increasing its survivability against F&F CAS munitions when making mistakes? 12.3 maybe with its armor profile.
Yeah, the weakest tanks have APS: Merkava Mk4 and Challenger 2. Not T-series, Abrams, or Leopard 2 at this time.
