Why isn't USSR allowed to have anything good?

True… for the most part. For most nations they ideally need to employ aircraft way above the BR of the Pantsir (kinda hoping the Pantsir moves up in BR with the decompression hopefully coming soon)

But I feel most sorry for the Germans. The Tornados current state makes actually evading the Pantsir, even with a skilled player, rather hard. But they could just fix the Tornado to fix that problem. They just… wont

Those are all minor nations and China got its Temu BMP-3

was added a month after that post

Whats that got to do with the price of bread?

Every nation should have at least one 10-11.7 IFV by now. The fact they dont is kinda insane.

Heck Britain got the somewhat useless CR3TD instead of an actually useful high tier IFV.

Minor nations have less to add eg Isreal’s lack of an IFV

But that just isnt true. Cant comment for Israel, but Britain could have gotten 2 or 3 different warrior variants and the Ajax for high tier. Not too mention CW additions like the Canadian LAV III. (and thats just naming a few)

The falacy that “minor nations get less because they have less” is just wrong. Most minor nations have just as much that could be added as any of the “major” nations.

Yeah but the warrior is just sad because of its clip fed auto cannon. I see no reason why the Ajax cant be added but because its a minor nation it will only get the most important vehicles for the TT.

Again… That is just stupid. and id argue than IFV IS the most important addition for Britain right now.

We have the most MBTs of any nation and they just gave us another (one with less armour and firepower than the previous lot) and yet we have no IFV above 8.3

I know many would have gladly traded the Challenger 3TD and 2 OES for a single 10.0+ IFV. Its been called for for about 2 years now

Fair I don’t know the full scope as I don’t play UK but I do fine in USSR without any IFVs. Just use MBT and then spawn a heli. The AH 1 Apache is one of the better helicopters of top tier.

USSR does not really need IFVs (despite having one of the best in game) , they have the fastest tanks in the game, with some of the best armour. Issue is. Chally 2s are the slowest top tier tanks in the game, with the second worse armour at top tier.

WIth gaijin deleting long range maps. We are forced to brawl in snipers. IFVs are critical and when there are several options too choose from (including several that would be mostly modified versions of vehicles already in game). It just becomes frustrating.

The number of missing vehicles is actually astounding. I can list about a half dozen aircraft britain is missing from BR 10 to 12.7 in our air tree. (more if you add south africa) Any of them could have been added at any time. But instead we had almost no new aircraft in 2023 because “we had nothing to add”

I’ve heard that, but never seen why. It’s got average at best AGMs, the Starstreaks are almost unusable vs jets (only really good vs helis) and everything else is identical to all the other Apache Ds. Im waiting for the Wildcat to be added.

To be real UK need South Africa subtree for air. No other comments the Chally 2’s are bad but the 3 TD is acceptable

Probably about to get some quite major nerfs like loosing LWR and going down to the CR2 engine, so major speed loss. On top of its current major limitations and Gaijin induced nerfs

Maybe… Something like a Mirage III around 10/10.3 might be needed. But Id fear the same thing thats happened in our ground tree. Native options replaced by South African ones. Like I said. We are missing LOADS of really good aircraft as it is. We dont even have a Hawk yet and Id take a Hawk over any South African aircraft without a second thought. I know basically anyone who plays Britain would likely be the same. (heck a hawk would be an excellent aircraft for that same bracket)

Atlas-Denel Cheetah would be perfect for that role.

Yeah, another option. But Im just fearing we’ll have something like:

Sea harrier FA2 this update

Cheatah C in September

Cheatah D in October

Mirage III in December

Buc S50 in March

and then maybe something British again sometime next year. basically what htey did for our ground tree for ages. Way too many great briitsh tanks yet to be added

(No Scimitar, Abbot, AS-90, Saladin, Ferret, etc)

That would be optimistic as the snail is not very generous to minor nations.

Well… its time they start being more generous.

Im personally hoping for:

Sea Harrier FA2 this coming update (on leak list)

BAE Hawk (considering things like the Alpha jet just got added, its about time) and Tornado Gr4 (Basically same model as the Gr1, with upgrades, could come with them actually finishing the Tornado Gr1 in Septemeber/October

Typhoon DA2 or F2 in December

Harrier Gr9A sometime early next year.

None of those would be unreasonable within that time frame

Agreed but don’t get your hopes up.

None of those are unreasonable. Considering Britain got 4 new aircraft last year and the US got 8. Id say its about time for some equilabrium

Honestly, for duplicate vehicles the devs should make a modification feature. Like when you activate modification “BM2” for T-64, the tank name will be changed from T-64 to T-64BM2, and so on. But it will be pretty complex for the game, I think.

Man, I wish the USSR wasn’t allowed to have anything nice in coastal

The amount of overpowered post-war ships they get in the 3.x-4.x area while I’m stuck grinding with a slow PT boat with two 40mms (PT-808, JPN) is just crazy.

Edit: And that’s not even mentioning helis. What on earth is an AH-64DJP supposed to do against a Black Shark or worse, Alligator?!
