Why isnt France getting an SPAA to fill two HUGE gaps?

Now all these guys going “oh, but it closed the gap a little” as if 0.3 from the top was praiseworthy are silent.

The French and the British just getting the stick as usual. The British have 3 8.7 SPAA’s now, with the Falcon being worse than ever and having massive statistic drops but sure Gaijin it’s absolutely equal to the ZA-35.

The only issue is it’s now gonna be the only 8.3 vehicle since the mars and amx 10 are moving up to 8.7

I just thought about that 5 minutes ago, this is just sad not even funny, bring it down and then move everything at 8.3 up
Sounds like a plan

The AMX-30 ACRA & AMX-13 (HOT) are still 8.3, but even with the BR decompression, they are rather mediocre, if not outright bad in some situations.

Yeah they are so bad I forgot about them. I only ever used them as a backup the acra can work but the amx 13 is just uptiering the already too high 7.0 tank to 8.3 and slap some Extremely situational missiles on it

Actually, it’s higher for some reason

Yeeah because it’s better than the 30dca it’s not that hard to understand

How so? The DCA is more mobile with a higher rate of fire and a LRF plus nearly twice as much ammunition.

You mean the one that can fully rotate its turret around or the house on wheels?

has no more apds, no stab, worse radar not really more mobile about the same

While having a LRF is nice to have, it isn’t a big difference in capabilities because both have high firerate autocannons; thus, trial and error is cheap for these kind of vehicles.

1200 rounds is definitely better than 680, but both have the same belt capacity (Gepard actually has more, with 320 instead of 300)… along with the fact that it takes the Gepard 1 second to change belts, instead of 30 seconds like with the AMX 30 S DCA.

The mobility bonus of the AMX is nice to have, but the Gepard’s overall mobility is still quite good.

The Gepard gets access to APDS, and much better APHE (both in terms of explosive filler and penetration), so while the AMX has bettet firerate, I’d argue the Gepard is better off against tanks.

The 35mm HE is better than the 30mm HE of the AMX too, both in terms of range and explosive filler, so arguably it is still better than the AMX in terms of anti-air capabilities, despite the worse firerate.
