Wanna know what is cursed? is that GRB BARELEY is “Realistic”; and ASB and GSB for some reason is more realistic. you actually get a full real control for air, while in grb all you do is move your mouse and click on targets. and in ground your camera is position to iirc the gunner camera.
GRB should literally just be GSB. this dosen’t make sense that gsb has alll the true realism while grb is only like partially realistic
I think it’s called realistic because it’s a more realistic game mode than arcade and then it’s called simulator because it’s better simulates how combat would be in real life. That’s just my guess.
The average player both can’t be trusted and doesn’t want anything to do with the SB ruleset.
“Realistic” is called that because unlike AB mobility and gun handling aren’t buffed, and calling it “AB without ennemy markers and stat buffs” doesn’t quite roll off the tongue.
I’d love to see RB being made more realistic, but the playerbase is very hostile to gameplay changes that would upset their habit, in particular, the change in optics placement would negatively impact the CBT meta which would be perceived as the second worst thing that could happen to the wider population.
Because realism =/= your specific personal desires.
GRB is realistic, it’s not authentic, but authenticity isn’t realism, & realism isn’t authenticity.

Ground realistic is not how combat realistically goes, but rather the vehicles themselves being realistic (rather than the buffs arcade gives). Experience is always different, whether in irl and in game.
