Why is it that the entire enemy team is higher BR than my team?
On my team we had 15 players with max br 6.7 // 1 player with 7.0
The enemy team has 5 players with max br 6.7 // 4 players with 7.0 // 3 players with 7.3 // 4 players at 7.7.
How is this possible, shouldnt the teams at least be close in BR or at least have the top BR in both teams be the same?

I hadn’t watched the replay, I would guess its just players in general, people would bring what they have so they could join 6.7 with just one tiger 2 in their line up and choose to spawn panther d even when its uptier to 7.7. Still these guys wonder why half their team gone within the first minute lol
My question about what’s currently going on with the matchmaker was dismissed. Apparently, it’s always been like this, but I’ve never noticed it in over 1,000 matches.
By the way, this affects every nation I’ve played recently. It seems the matchmaker no longer makes any effort to create balanced matches.
There now appears to be only one BR range, for example 6.7 to 7.7, and it fills teams more or less randomly.
There was thread about this few weeks ago, apparently it is entirely possible for one team to NOT have max BR vehicles, but this became only apparent with the new feature where you can preview lineups of other players in your team.
And it sets you up to get absolutely stomped. Because while you can in theory fight them, it gives one side a very hefty advantage.
There are situations where you barely even need to show up. This especially applies to battles against Americans and Germans in the 5.7–6.7 range.
If the enemy team has three full German or American 6.7 lineups while the other nations are running around with a maximum of 6.3, you’ll lose three out of four times.
I can tell you that from the perspective of the Germans, Russians, Chinese, and Israelis.
