This 6.7 slug is an ultra rare sight, it’s awful in its current rank as its armour is easily penned by most tanks it faces. It has atrocious maneuverability and terrible speed even when upgraded it will bog to 3-5kph on minor hills. Instead of instilling the enemy with dread they trip over themselves in trying to kill it.
The Jagdtiger and T95 are much more capable (and that’s saying something).
If the devs want people to actually use something they probably invested a lot of time designing they need to fix the glaring issues.
6.7 is too high for it, drop it to 6.3, there are no British tanks around this BR and it faces too many tanks that easily murder it.
Fix the armour issues, its incorrectly and under-armoured in a lot of spots, especially the MG port.
At its current rank and state there is zero point playing it, the Chariotee is 10x more capable despite been a 6.0 BR.
Gaijin will never directly or indirectly buff Britain. Note how they mucked up solid shot, refuse to fix HESH, refuse to give us Brimstones 2, buff R-Darters, or anything positive for Britain (but they will nerf Fox turret speed when the engine is off, despite it being hand cranked, and then throw it to 8.0)
Sad really, there are some potentially great British tanks that have been neglected.
In the higher ranks gun stabilisers are the only perk they seem to score, everything else often a lesson in frustration.
In real life, there was very little difference between solid shot and explosive filler. That’s why Britain didn’t invest filler in their shells. In this game, Gaijin refuses to accept realism and allow solid shot to be completely useless and let’s the losers (Germany) have OP tanks (despite losing the war).
I wouldn’t know, I never had the pleasure of shooting a tank filled with solid shot and filled with explosive filler. Although I assume it would be like firing a rifle at a box of ammunition: it’ll just damage the cartridge, it won’t really blow up
Tortoise is among the best 6.7s I play.
Good armor, good mobility for its class, and a hilariously good gun.
Jagdtiger and T95 sacrifice a lot of mobility for a better gun [German] or better armor [T95].
Britain’s 6.7 lineup is among the strongest in the game, significantly stronger than Soviets for example.

All tanks in WT reduce turret rotation when engine is off, no exceptions.
Fox is balanced and great at 8.0.
Germany’s only OP tank sits at 4.3 and is the Jagdpanzer IV.
I now see why everyone thinks you rage bait. The Fox should have stayed at 6.7, and it never should have been nerfed. Sorry that the Heavy mains are so bad that they had to nerf the light tank to absolute uselessness and then send it to 8.0
Didn’t need a nerf, and they need to do away with HAND CRANKS getting slower when the ENGINE is off. No reason that should be in game.
Sorry that Britain had one “OP tank” which wasn’t even that OP considering the fact that the thing can die to a machine gun. Want OP? Let’s talk about Germany, USSR, and America. Britain has nothing. And whatever “OP” thing Britain has, another country has it (Grippen, Eurofighter, Spitfire, etc.) God forbid Britain has a good tank.
I agree with most people on most things because that’s just how statistics work, and how information is distributed.
I may not always voice my agreement, but it’s there.
I agree with most of your stances, and I won’t let minor disagreements on a minority of things ruin my opinions of you or others.
@XxJax0NeinxX-live
USSR currently has no OP tanks.
Germany has one at 4.3: Jagdpanzer IV.
USA has 1? M4A2.
Tanks being good does not mean they have to be OP.
Britain has great tanks at every BR even if you don’t see that, and if you’re reliant on tanks being OP to do well, that says more about you than it does about others.
Oh yeah, Germany has one OP tank? Please don’t make me laugh. Russia, I’ll agree with to an extent, still doesn’t stop me from abhorring a full uptier against IS-3s and 4s. America is more OP in the sky in all fairness (nothing like the F-15E dominating, because God forbid America goes one update without being the best).
No, I suffered Britain, I’m well aware of how dreadful it is, with the lack of explosive filler, shots never penning because it’s a full uptier, and I know 6.7 is halfway decent (Ratel 20, 90, and G6). Doesn’t change the fact that Britain deserves to have an OP vehicle. The rest of the tree sucks beyond the South Africa line.
The best rounds USA has at 6.7 for its fast firing guns are APCR rounds.
You either choose to pen, or you choose to not deal with heavy tanks.
And that M304 shot will force you to learn where ammo and important crew/modules are on tanks.
I’ve ammo racked Tiger 2s using APCR more times as America than I can count.
I 1v1’d an IS-4 and won because I mained APCR which allowed me to pen its side easier after destroying its barrel and track.
Ammo, crew, and module visualization works wonders.
Nice, now let’s talk about how all those good rounds take a long time to get, meanwhile Germany and Russia get amazing rounds off the bat, and even America gets the M61 shot pretty quickly. Meanwhile Britain’s best round (Mk.8) is pretty far down there.
I still refuse to play Britain because of how terrible the stock grind for low tier was. Germany, Russia, and America are far superior, which is extremely unfortunate.
