Also didnt notice diffrence
In general t series rotate very well so it isnt a problem and even a pro over other mbts
and? 9.3 regularly fights 8.3 and 8.7
difference between having LRF and optical RF is presence of FCS giving you ballistic adjustment in a matter of half a second, giving you an immediate precise shot. Also, smokes are effective even with poor mobility - they fully hide you well regardless of how fast you move, giving you 2nd - or more chances.
idk why you’d need a LRF when all of your APFSDS travels at >1700m/s and very few vehicles around this BR can withstand it
TBH despite all this, while actually playing the t64A it was actually quite good. The tank performs upto 10.3 quite well and I personally don’t think it struggles very much. Don’t think it should be moved down but not complaining
They don’t. Just like you don’t need thermals most of the time.
/end topic. T-64A is not as good as the T-72A and that is okay. It’s fine where it is.
All of these tanks melt easily and depend entirely on their gun handling characteristics. CM-11 is slow with some weak-tier ERA applied that is patchy at best. I’d rather face these at 9.3 when I’m playing USSR than I would a T-72M1 or some other T-72 in another tree. Or something like the Beglite. They’re fine tanks, but they’re not top dogs of 9.3 at all. Also, you don’t have to worry about Leopard 1A5 because it’s too busy being melted by autocannons on your team.
If I’m using a T-72A, T-64A, 279, or whatever at 9.3, these are the vehicles I actually look out for:
- Missile slingers: AFT09, ZT3A2, BMP3/BMD4, Beglite, etc.
- Autocannon spammers: Falcon, Gepard and co.
- IFVs: Type 16, PTL-02 and co.
- CAS of all types.
MBTs are not a great concern in the whole scheme of things.
Edit: There’s also another factor we need to discuss. USSR 9.0 and 9.3 lineups are boosted by the opposition you face. And by opposition, I’m talking the abundance of USA teams you face. You can be tracked, gun disabled, and they still won’t take you out, they still won’t aim for your weak spots. But then again, statshark is telling me that USSR 9.3 has a lower all time winrate compared to those nations, so who knows.
The problem is the big map. Somebody snipin you from like 2km away and you got no Laser Rangefinder and your gunner can’t even caculate that far and fast and won’t adjust your barrel by the time. Your only hope is to guess it. No smoke gernada is a big problem as well… you can’t escape. Nah 10.3 I don’t think so as everyone is so modern already have everything use for combat. They got thermals, Smoke gernada and fast rotating turrets Fast horizontal drive also a very powerful engine to get to place to place quickly or to reposition them self. Espically if you play in Sim battle which I play it sometimes. In 10.3 it will face Heavy armor vehicle. Tanks that are better then the T-64A.
Ik thats why i said that cuz they arent op
Sorry, I was adding to what you said, I know you weren’t the one to originally say it, lol
It would be interesting to change the Br of the T-64. Since it has slightly worse armor than the T-72A, it could be used to lower the Br to 9.0, leaving it with the 3BM15 as its best ammunition. It would also be interesting to decompress the Br because, for example, a T-64 facing Br 8.0 would be a bit obscene.
T-64A is pretty much worse in ever aspect except it Main gun being the best. I won’t mind if they remove the 3MB22 and leave the 3MB15 to lower it down to 9.0.
Problem isnt its round its more the armor
The armor will be op against 8.0
It should be fine techinally there is some very annoying rat in that BR. And some tanks wil ATGM will easily pentrated the turret.
That’s why I said that a Br decompression should be done, to further separate the Br 8.0 tanks from the 9.0 ones.
Other serious problems with the game would be the maps being too small and especially the horrible damage model. It would already be difficult to fight a T-64A with a Br 8.0, but since you can’t flank properly because of the small maps, and if you have the opportunity to pierce it in the lower part of the hull, many times the driver absorbs all the damage, without it reaching the other crew members, it makes something more or less difficult become something almost impossible, and you only depend on whether the game is benevolent with you that day and doesn’t harm you too much artificially.
I personally am one of those who thinks that more tanks should be added, with different bullets and in different Br, and thus fill gaps in the Br. For example, as I said a long time ago: For the T-54 (1947) only leave the AP ammunition with Br 7.0, for the 54 the APBC with Br 7.3, for the 51 the APBC with Br 7.3, add the T-54A with APCBC and HEAT-FS in Br 7.7 and then the T55A with APCBC, APDS and HEAT-FS in Br 8.0, and then add some later model of T-55A that has a laser and also add the APDS-FS with its real penetration in Br 8.3. On the other hand, on the American side, the M60A1 RISE could be added with the M725 in Br 8.3, and the M60A1RISE (Passive) could be given the M773, increasing the Br by 0.3.
On the British side, for example, the Centurion Mk5/2 could be added with the L28A1 in Br 8.0, and the Centurion MkX could be upgraded by giving it the L52, in Br 8.3.
Yes but the big majority cant
Atgm meant to pen everything all tho even kpz atgm cant pen it
So u stay with only China i think
Nobody on this forum can ever tell if you are serious or ragebaiting on any given reply you make to any given thread.
What is Chaina?
Because the T-72A got left behind when 9.3 was decompressed. It should be 9.7.
If that’s a problem because of 10.7s, then those 10.7s should be 11.0.
If that’s a problem because of 11.7s, then those 11.7s should be 12.0.
That is a problem because of 12.0s, because 12.0s should be 12.3, 12.7, or higher.
The two shouldn’t be the same BR but the solution certainly isn’t to make M60s, Leopard 1s, T-54s, etc. fight the T-64
I disagree, the gun is quite good and your armour is pretty okay aswell, and it’s not too hard to guesstimate the range. If you’re not good with that or if you’re using HEATFS you can just stick to the closer range portions of big maps, or just constantly stay in cover. OFC a uptier will be difficult but IMO it’s much better against uptiers against some other vehicles in the BR range.
