Why is the T-64A same BR as the T-72A with very big differences? (RB)

The T64A with 696Hp at Ground relastic very painful to climb extreme steep hill and with a weaker armor and no extra 50Cal mounted on the top of the turret and have lower survivability and also it dosen’t have the Laser Rangefinder at all for battling out huge maps such as Field of Polands. While the T-72A with Laser Range finder and has an Even more powerful engine 780Hp with better armor. It also has the extra Armor kits which provide extra protection. In my opinion the T-64A shall be lowerd to 9.0 for better balancing and Leave the T-64B as it is very good tank at that BR.

What do you humans thinks?

because the game is massively compressed and doesn’t have enough room to give things like this their own BR

then decompressed it.

wont happen sadly, this is a persistent issue throughout the entire game, every gamemode has crazy compression in places

Bait use to be believable.
With posts like these mocking the idea that there are still compressed BRs by overtly lying about the situation, it’s of no surprise people believe the game is fine.

T-64A and T-72A are effectively the same. Both 8x optic 3BM22 firing modest armored T-series tanks of similar mobility.
There is no compression between the two.

Claiming that there’s compression around 9.3 ground is pure bait cause it hasn’t existed for a long time now. Quite literally fixed the moment War Thunder decompressed by 0.7 BRs a few years back.

There is BR compression in War Thunder, but this topic is not about that off-topic situation.
2.7 ground is compressed by 0.3 - 0.7 causing issues for tanks up to 5.7 in BR.
To claim it’s “widespread” would be inaccurate.

T-64A doesn’t even get smoke launchers which is yet another con.

It dosen’t even have an dozer blade…

Ngl I thought the 64A was still 9.0, but ig not

Less armor, no LRF, no smoke, no roof mounted mg, no dozer for extra armor, no addon armor

Gaijin gonna need to have a proper reason to put it at 9.3 in an enviroment which lot of tank that got modern equipment while this tank felt like a prototype.

Same can be said for your post

How about dump the T64A to 8.7? It just isn’t perfect being at 10.3 at the highest not a chance of survival in huge maps. While the T-64B which is a massive improvement making the tank very very powerful at BR of 9.7.

No.

hell no, its impenetrable by stuff like 122-1

Br 8.9 Gaijin gonna need to decompressed everything.

Has those cool flare plates tho 😎. Style points = +0.3 BR!

T-64A and T-72A only have same 3BM22 and similar armor
lack of LRF ,smoke and MG make T-64A has a worse game experience than T-72A

No, we need some more space at around that area to properly fix vehicles like 64A. Moving it to 8.7 would cause other issues.

What do I think? Both T-72A and T-64A are just lineup fillers behind the actual interesting vehicles at 9.0-9.3. I’ll bring out Object279, BMP3/BMD4, Object775, etc, before I even think about either of those two. However, T-72A is better, but I also don’t think that the T-64A and T-62M1 (and now Object435) should be the same BR…

Sometimes vehicles will simply be the same BR despite one being better.

Edit: Can we also shout out the wonky looking side guards on the T-64A? ngl, they have saved me from a HEAT-FS here and there when hit on an angle.

The standard rangefinder is extremely accurate.
Smoke is more useful for light tanks than MBTs.

@TheDudesRug
Why would you use 8.7s in your 9.3 lineup?

?

I don’t.

What 8.7 have I mentioned? You know the 435 is 9.0 now, right?
