not true at all. Mig 19 has much better energy and will catch the su7 if it turns a little bit

MiG-19 has better energy generation but a much lower cap on how much energy it can have. Su-7 is simply not going to ever be caught by a MiG-19 if the Su-7 simply does not want to be caught. Su-7 is much faster. MiG-19 doesn’t break mach at sea level. Gaining altitude does not do much to this.

SU-7 never carried any type of air to air missile. The Su-7A was in service before the R-3 existed.
