You may not know this, but Su-7 is designed as a fighter first. Then it became a bomber. It’s a perfectly capable fighter still if you know how to use its strengths.
And, you can do this with it, my favorite pasttime
Though Amen brother Su-7 needs to stay 9.0 forever so i can blow up h-5s, sea hawks and other 8.0s :)

Ah yes so being clapped every game by missiles is fair? You compress unbelievably hard at 1100+ and can’t even pull enough to dodge an aim9b. Now being able to face 10.3 missiles you can’t do anything! It’s fast but then again almost everything is faster at 9.3
Its great at 9.0 and now its going to be dogshit! Why in fucks name would you pick the su-7 over the mig 19 or mig 21? Those are both faster and better in every single way. Let’s not even start about the missiles you see at 10.3 and not being able to dodge them because it compresses super hard at high speeds.
Mig 19 is better and now at the same br. The mig also gets missiles. Su-7 also compresses super hard at high speeds making it impossible to dodge any missiles.

MiG-19 is not faster than Su-7. Su-7 dusts MiG-19 at any altitude.

There shouldn’t be a plane being great at it’s BR. Good in downtiers, suffer in uptiers. Average is the rule. And that’s OK.
Pure Skill Issue!
95% of Su-7 players zipping low alt directly to a base. It’s so predictable. You are able to cut them off in most planes. In my Ayit 99% of Su-7 doesn’t reach my base I’m heading to. It’s ridiculous. They know Israel in enemy team, they know there are 9.7.
It can carry a lot of small rockets, work decent as flares, or 4 big rockets, work fine at A2A and as flares.
With CCIP you can make very easily more scorepoints than with bombing bases.
But as long as most players totally/stupidly focussed on their own benefit (base bombing give the most rewards), they will have a hard time in a mode that requires a little bit of aircombat skills.

Won’t be clapped every game, still going to one of the fastest planes to a base. Might actually lose to F-104s that are base bombing but at least it won’t be stealing bases from 8.0, 8.3 and 8.7 bombers anymore. Even when I see them in my Hunter F.6 I see they still get to bases before anyone else.
I’ve seen Su-7s dodge Aim-9Bs I chucked at them from my Premium Japanese Saber, and they were going full speed.
Only the F-104, F-106 and Mig-21 are faster.
Every other 9.3 plane is either a Sub-Sonic or Trans Sonic aircraft and not at all a Super Sonic or Mach 2 capable fighter.
Its over powered at 9.0, it’ll be great at 9.3. I’ll also be happy to see less of them so I might actually have a chance to get a base now when I play a bomber.
Just because it can play 8.0 and is not a popular not for now with discount premium (t58)

i also use the rockets as flares and they only work if you turn your engine off.
just tried the mig 21 and without engine upgrades it’s .3 seconds faster from 500 to 1000kph.
