It is rather absurd that a vehicle that relies entirely on IRST tracking has worse IRST tracking range with gen3 thermals than Soviet era vehicles with objectively inferior optics. Especially considering the listed range for Starstreak is 7km+ i.e it can reach out somewhat further IRL, that wouldn’t be possible if the thing couldn’t track targets past 7km.
been using a lot of ATAS and Mistraals on helis last few days and their guidance is horrendous. They just miss 75% of the time. Even easy shots
7km is the effective range for hitting a target manoeuvring at 9G. Currently they can’t hit a target manoeuvring at 9G at any range because of how poor the darts pull. If they have the energy to hit a manoeuvring target at 7km they can certainly hit helicopters past that.
But that doesn’t suit russian bias.
I don’t think there is any missile in the game that can hit a 9g maneuvering Target at that Range
Some other thing to note the Roland System is from the same Year has the aim9L
If it really was that poor has it performs in-game they would probably have fitted alot more ready to fire missile’s than 2
And then there is the vt1 which doesn’t maneuver at all during the first 400 meters did we ever get any source that’s really the case?

Think the most infuriating thing currently is the rocket dropping like 10m in the boost stage. It has made the thing completely incapable of defending itself against light vehicles because whatever you fire just hits the ground.
Is lock range a thing reported? 8km is incredibly low considering things like BMP-2M have 10km. And older Gen 1 thermal sights have 10km lock like LAVAD.
I think it may be related to the unstable lock? Unsure.
now maybe you all could fix the adats missing a 100 mm of penetration, or the AH-64D Apache still not having its AGM L Hellfires, or how the Sep abrams still doesnt have its depleted uranium hull.
Does anybody else seem to have issues with the Stormer on the Dev Server?
The missiles seem to quite literally be vanishing in the middle of their flight for me
working as intended :) Remember, the stormer was doing too good, even better than the 2s6
that is the Dev server so it will be broken they should stop letting the guy touch it all the time and revert it back to when it was added. with 50mm of pen 1400 m/s only the ka50s players complained about it back then. so nerf its speed its pen its damage and increase DeadZone from 400m to 2102m
