However, I believe this should not be an excuse for Gaijin’s inaction. They should strive to fix this issue rather than stating in the Issue section that it is not a bug. I’m not sure if it’s possible to call upon a technical moderator or forum administrator to bring this issue to the developers’ attention, but I hope it can be fixed as soon as possible.

Stormer HVM does not have a radar screen, as it “Has a different system”

Well guess now we know why.
I personally prefer to aim it manually than relying on the Radar Screen since it doesn’t have a proxy fuse. Needs a direct hit and Radar Screen will just make it inaccurate.
The radar screen would have allowed for it to filter drones (the rage i feel watching my friendlies launch drones knowing theyll never use it and itll just act as clutter for me for the rest of the match) as well as team mates in general. Plus, the situational awareness you gain from it is worth its weight in gold.

For the first part. All they need to do is add the IFF + NCTR.
Though Gaijin is proving just as lazy for that.
But yeah, I’m sure they could add the radar screen just without the functionality to have ACLOS
I sincerely hope that the developers can address this issue as soon as possible, rather than acknowledging the problem but not resolving it. If I recall correctly, IFF and NCTR have not yet been implemented.
For the HVM? Yes, they were not.
A reminder that this thing has been released in update 1.89 (5/29/2019) and, for my seven years on WT, I never seen this thing working as intended once.

It didn’t have almost any smoke anyway. The problem is one of the most prominent tracers in the game.

Yeah, that needs to be fixed. Especially given its entirely fictional
errrrr… arent the tracers used to track the missile for beam guidance…
In-game they are just so that you can see the darts without TVD and adjust accordingly.
IRL it’s ACLOS and so you dont need to know where the missile is visually
There is no reason for the Tracers to be as large or bright as they are currently modeled and could be at bare minimum, halved
I doubt it has a tracer. Even if it has something like that, it’s probably ir emitters. It’s a pity that literally no one films the flight of the starstreak, but only the launch.
