I have it alot where you fire a missile at a drone, it proxy’s and does absolutely no damage.
Mine just miss. They don’t lock until 1.5km, over-lead horribly, and sail past (presumably having lost lock)
it was, but they have used multiple of the stormer missile types in that place, including Starstreaks. Unlike the game, the rods travel closer to each other IRL so its harder to tell through the thermal sights if it’s actually a Starstreak or a LMM if I remember right; but right now even if it IS LMM, the stormer at its current BR needs it. It’s the same BR as the OSA and that is arguably better in every way (even if it had the LMM), due to the fact its missiles, though slower, actually deal damage; they also travel further than the stormers Starstreaks at 10.5km, while the starstreak is only 7km; so giving it LMM which are faster than the OSA missiles but slower than Starstreak, and less range than the OSA on a platform that is the same BR would be fine IMO and the opinion of many others, but I fear that gaijin would raise its BR due to the AT ability of the LMM, unless they make it a proxy detonating warhead only.
Stormer HVM used to be good maybe 3 years ago when it controlled well. Now it has a huge deadzone that eliminates 3/7ths of its firing range and then has about 1-2km to hit a target flying in a straight lines (As the missiles have too much drag now) and then they cut out and become really sluggish for the final 2+ km of their range. Not to mention it’s a 7km range AA facing 8-10km helicopter missiles and can’t stealth-attack them as it gives Laser warning to them.
Their solution seems to be to just put random crap in its place that has nothing to do with Britain instead of fixing it, which is just a bad route.
They should just give the option for the Stormer to use Martlet missiles, they’re a more conventional proxy fuse type of missile
My bug report for them passed, hopefully we get them soon
Or Thales LMM, that would also help with its issues.
The stormer in these pictures has 4 Starstreaks and 4 LMM’s (LMM are the tan covered ones)
These missiles have a laser proximity sensor, so they do proxy detonate.
LMM is Martlet.
As AblativeKitten said they are the same missile haha, the naming is confusing

There is my report if anyone is interested
I feel like the stormer has only gotten worse. I’d taken a 6 month break, tried it again this week and it’s just …unusable.
You could set it to any BR and it would be bad, it fundamentally has no real use in the game with how terrible the missile is at this point.
ADAD cant provide video feed, they said…
All acclaim has been removed
curious, considering your report was accepted for consideration but then closed are they thinking about it or just shut it down lol?? considering they dont normally close it unless its sorted from my experience
No. They do not close it for bugs. For suggestions and real life inaccuracies they close it.
ahh alright, well I mean hopefully something happens at least and thx :)
Make a suggestion in the bug report page with this instead of just leaving it for a tech mod to stumble across?
With the ADAD Brochure and this it should be enough to get Gaijin to give the Stormer/ Ozelot at least 12km target lock
Hmm when did they do this, if you fire 1 then it will track but past a certain range if you fire a second the previous loses tracking where as if you fire 2 together they both track?? In other words if you want too make sure your target is dead you better send 2 off the bat as if you send it just as your first is gonna hit your first will lose all inertia and drop like a rock…
Just had a drone eat 8 starstreaks.
LMM. Now.
Recon or strike drone?
Strike one.
