in the video, pretty sure a Tunguska shot it with a missile, and it did nothing. wasn’t until a 30mm hit it once, did it go down. But regardless, I hope it gets fixed. the more people who say they have the same issue on the bug report, the more likely it is to be seen.
I dunno, you can’t get em with a Starstreak, and the Stingers lead horribly. I don’t yet have the Osa or Strela yet… so can’t speak on them, but I last remember the 35mm guns on the Marksman and ZA-35 missing horribly.
In the comments of the bug report, I placed a video of a HVM engaging a small recon drone (same as what we see in game) and destroying it with no issues. unsure on the missile type used, but if its the Thales LMM then all the more reason to add that to it.
Was it from the ongoing conflict? If so, almost certainly LMM.
TBH, I wish they’d just added the LMM. The Brit tech tree doesn’t need copy-pasted soviet air stuff. I don’t play Britain to spawn an osa or a sodding strela.
it was, but they have used multiple of the stormer missile types in that place, including Starstreaks. Unlike the game, the rods travel closer to each other IRL so its harder to tell through the thermal sights if it’s actually a Starstreak or a LMM if I remember right; but right now even if it IS LMM, the stormer at its current BR needs it. It’s the same BR as the OSA and that is arguably better in every way (even if it had the LMM), due to the fact its missiles, though slower, actually deal damage; they also travel further than the stormers Starstreaks at 10.5km, while the starstreak is only 7km; so giving it LMM which are faster than the OSA missiles but slower than Starstreak, and less range than the OSA on a platform that is the same BR would be fine IMO and the opinion of many others, but I fear that gaijin would raise its BR due to the AT ability of the LMM, unless they make it a proxy detonating warhead only.
Stormer HVM used to be good maybe 3 years ago when it controlled well. Now it has a huge deadzone that eliminates 3/7ths of its firing range and then has about 1-2km to hit a target flying in a straight lines (As the missiles have too much drag now) and then they cut out and become really sluggish for the final 2+ km of their range. Not to mention it’s a 7km range AA facing 8-10km helicopter missiles and can’t stealth-attack them as it gives Laser warning to them.
Their solution seems to be to just put random crap in its place that has nothing to do with Britain instead of fixing it, which is just a bad route.
curious, considering your report was accepted for consideration but then closed are they thinking about it or just shut it down lol?? considering they dont normally close it unless its sorted from my experience
