In its own br its fine, but you genuinely never get put in 9.3. Its always 9.7-10.3, which is totally unplayable in the mig 21 PFM as it gets no flares and in my opinion one of the worst air to air missiles in the game. It barely pulls gs, loses track almost instantly, and it barely reaches mach. It also has no flares what so ever, while the majority of the planes you fight (mig 21MF, SU-22, F-5C, jaguar GR.1A, etc) get flares and 10x better missiles. the mig 21 pfm is max a 9.0.
Literally everything from 6.7-13.3 suffers or dominates based on whether it’s uptiered or downtiered. PFM is no exception or special case.
We’re experiencing a massive compression crisis. We shouldn’t be asking for things to go down, we should be asking for everything to go up.
Compare it to a Hunter F1, and tell me if you think that’s fair? 8.0’s would get bullied beyond comprehension by a it.
Everything at every tier seems to get a ton of uptiers. We need decompression rather than individual BR changes.
I don’t think we should have a Mig-21 at the same BR as a Hunter and only 0.3 above a Mig-17.
Because Russian bias. It should be 9.7 minimum…
Meanwhile, everytime I try to play something like the Javelin or Sea-Vixen, I only ever face supersonic 9.3s that I can do nothing too.
if you put it any lower then everything it faces in a downtier will have literally no chance
most already don’t but even lower would just make it worse
the problem isn’t it’s BR, it’s the huge compression at 8.0-10.0
that’s basically the reason why I don’t play the Vixen often
