Why is the M48 (90mm) all variants at 7.7?

This thing sucks gets penned by 30mm cannons
and why does Israel get two of these abysmal things
eventhough the 2 version is the same as the 1 version
just with 14 HP more? It weighs 3 tons more for that?

What sucks is that they didn’t gave it a 5s reload rate.

It’s now 6.7s but it was even 7.5s before that.

It would be enjoyable, if it had that firepower buff.
But appart from armor that isn’t spectacular, you don’t really get anything over the M46 at 7.0.

I dont know just something fair i would even take an increased
traverse speed for the top MG turret so you can actually shoot
down planes with it and like an overwork for APCR but i guess
that would be too much to ask for i just bounced on an AMX ELC
front plate so iam pretty much happy with anything at this point.

isnt that 105mm armed M60 with the welded hull?

And please someone tell me what to do against this Swedish destroyer of worlds STRV 103C
with APCR.

That’s simple. You leave, or die. The cheese wedges get to bully you for free if you don’t bring something with darts or powerful missiles.

At best if you don’t want to just leave, you can try to snipe their tiny cupola when you unlock APHE, knock their gun and tracks out and shoot their side or hope they’re dumb and aim upward so your APCR can knock their transmission out, and then flank.

If they’re at long range, don’t bother. You need darts or ATGMs to really deal with the cheese wedges.

So basicly my tank is like a fat version of Sarah Connor
that is beeing hunted by the Terminator which hopefully
still uses ChatGPT 1.0

It’s… 9.0. M48s are 7.7. They cannot see the Strv 103C. If you’re talking about the 8.0 ones you can probably shoot out its transmission with HEATFS, and with APCR you can’t do anything. (It’s your stock round, nothing else is expected really.)

First, the 103C is 9.0. Its bad to the point of being nearly non-functional.

Second, the 103A is disabled on any frontal hit. It has ZERO gun traverse meaning if you blow its engine out (literally every penetrating hit) it can’t target you at all. The tank is the king of long range but folds vs anything getting close to it.

Down by the front wheels/sprockets theres relatively flat armour. If you dont have something able to push through the engine and into the crew from the front, you aim there hitting transmission, it can no longer turn and good chances of putting it through to the engine and causing a fire.

Keep causing fires.

???

Profit.

Honestly its been yeeeears now and nobody ever seems to bring this up. In fact, pending range, you have a good potential to kill crew too as it can go under the engine.

You can also aim to try and land the round right on the ridge of the wedge too, it works, its hard, but it works. Theres also the idea of tracking it, outflanking it, dropping artillery on it, etc.

I will word of warning this theres a few madlads like myself that use this thing as an angry aggressive cheese wedge on maps like cargo port where we push fast and use the vehicles good speed and momentum to move forwards as nobody expects the wedge to just come flying at them. Though we are rare, we are fairly good at using it in close in maps when locked in.

i’m not sure who you are warning. People like you are the ones i love to see. Charging at with no stab when a hit to the track will swing you out of fire arc and a hit to the engine will stop you from firing accurately. Anything with an autocannon eats you and you really struggle with XM800s as they are both small targets you struggle to hit on the move and easily punish any miss.

The 103s that are scary are the hull down ones at long range that kill half a team or eat 20+ shots and stop a team from capping beacuse they are too busy shooting the thing they can’t pen.

Mk 84’s work pretty well on these guys

Yup, very much so. This is why I tend to laugh when people say the 103 is an unstoppable sniper tank, you set up and snipe and the first guys you hit revenge bomb you (or if smart, first guys in a plane from other areas look to see why their teams stalled and bomb you), its really not that grand at the job unless the enemy team lets you do it.

Is why I use it as an aggressive tank constantly moving forwards, seems to work fairly well if you get a good map/dont get instantly revenge bombed still.
