Why is T-34 747 (r) at 4.3 when T-34 mod. 1942/43 is at 4.0?
The T-34 747 (r) has no difference other than cosmetics from what I can tell. Is it because Germany has a good 4.3 lineup…?
It has the better turret armour and the add on track armour on the side of the T-34 1942 (and the track armour has much better coverage too), combined with the extra frontal appliqué armour plate of the T-34E STZ.
The Russian T-34s have to choose between either the stronger turret or stronger hull.

Oh, the thing is more armored. So it’s T-34 mod.1942 turret and T-34E STZ body with a German cupola
yes, I think historically they where T-34s that where completed by the Germans from partial tanks that where captured in factories repair and supply depots etc. then put into service with some modifications.

That would make a decent amount of sense ngl. So by Smin_1080p’s definition the T-34 747 (r) is a unique tank which is not copy paste

Well, strictly speaking even without the German copula it is a unique armour lay out not on any of the Russian T-34s, even though it’s just the result of the Germans mismatching the turret/hull.

The German one has both the stronger turret, and the additional hull armor while not facing the potent high power German guns.
The mod 1943 is 4.7, not 4.3, I think you mean the STZ is 4.0 because it has the weaker turret, but the hull upgrade.
The mod 1942 is 4.0 with no hull armor upgrade.
And trust me that armor upgrade is sweet.
The T-34-57 mod.1943 with the ZiS-4M is 4.7. The regular T-34(1943) is in the Chinese tree at 4.0. I didn’t realize the 747r had the hull of a T-34E
Ah I thought you were comparing it straight against the Russian ones, and the only I knew of was the 4.7 premium.
I don’t play China, bar the premiums my buddies bought me.
Mainly the T-62, Because it’s the only premium T-62.
