Why is it that on WT the F117 can’t perform the very thing that defines it’s existence and be Stealthy
I was going to buy it but thankfully read online beforehand that it doesn’t have stealth capabilities so what is its advantages apart from being at a br that fights against WW2 aircraft which in itself is ridiculous but that’s a whole nother topic

Yeah, the F-1117 would only make sense in WT if a) it’s radar cross section and IR signature would be realistic and b) if there were frequent night battle.
ATM the Nighthawk is at a BR where radar and stealth are quite irrelevant, but in an environment where the black aircraft stands out like a sore thumb for everyone. And AI controlled AA seem to not have gotten the memo of the low observability features of the F-117 at all…

It does have reduced RCS. Its just irrelevant to how ground and air battles are played.
Honestly in ARB there is no BR where IR/Radar stealth wouldn’t be irrelevant on it. Goes lower and there’s no weapons of that kind at all, go higher and every plane will just catch it with raw speed.
In GRB though, ehhh, honestly kind of the same, but not as bad. Proper low RCS would definitely help, but subsonics with no dedicated CMs or weapons for self defense are a very hard sell, even if SAMs would struggle to lock missiles.

Now imagine if we had frequent night battles and point targets typical for the F-117 to engage. It’s not really a CAS aircraft, but I guess mostly used for that in WT…
