Why is the Eurofighter so nerfed?

F15E has better CM load, Radar and arguably, A2A fit with the ability to run 8x AMRAAM. (9Ms are just worthless)

Also typhoon is underperforming in pretty much every metric at the moment

Id never noticed the bingo fuel thing before, pretty massive thing to miss for someone claiming to have analyzed the video frame by frame. Unsurprising the French mains didnt point it out in their analysis of the video and “assumed” 50% fuel though considering their track record…

"FUEL"warning first comes on at 8:03 and “FUEL BINGO” at 8:25, while the moments the bug reporter picked to analyze and use for the bug report are at 6:53 and 7:27, only a minute before the warnings came on, yet 50% fuel was assumed for this.

Spoiler

Suggesting the aircraft as seen in-game is massively overperforming if modelled to the capabilities of this video.

@Gunjob it seems there is a significant discrepency found in the bug report of the Rafales flight performance.

I’ll see what I can do.

Edit: Oh you did look at it cool

Call me schizo, but since when is (Assuming) even allowed/Accepted in reports?

assuming the plane has 50% fuel load and 2 missiles suspended.

Well. Lets assume that the figures used for Typhoon performance was 2+4 A2A fit, max fuel, 3x External fuel tanks and 4x PW4s. Pretty impressive what it can do :P

i think it is safe to assume that it wasnt 50% fuel

doh, it lands at the airfield, so that bingo fuel if set to its current location is probably close to 10-20%

Apparently its fine if its for the Rafale

Until proven otherwise, bingo fuel should be assumed to be at the same point as stated in-game, which is at just short of 7min in game, which is 21% with my current config, though im missing most of the performance mods on my Rafale, so its likely less on a spaded jet, as fuel use increases with some of the mods Im missing.

Also, the “missiles” used during the video arent missiles, theyre smoke pods for the display (since the video used to bug report was an airshow display). Not sure what their weight is though.

They look like Smokewinders though, which would but them at ~92kg each, or 20kg less than a MICA gross weight, and 42kg less when empty, not that the difference in weight would really make too much of a difference id think.

It’s about as bad as saying 50% fuel tho, even worse, since that’s most probably an arbitrary value from the devs

Bingo varies depending on the location you are heading back too, given its already at its landing location, bingo could be as low as 10%

I agree, but the most fair assessment in this case would just be to use gaijins bingo time until proven otherwise definitively.

so it was a faulty bug report which should be reverted

rafale nerf yesss

Upon reviewing it and another material, there’s nothing wrong with the report while also taking into account the bingo fuel indication.

The internal capacity of the fuel tanks of the rafale is 4700kg. According to this Rafale M video, they have bingo fuel during landing approach at 2300kg.

I know some people are to occupied coping about the EFT and glazing the rafale to learn math, so I’ll do it for you. 4700/2300*100 = 48.9%
That is, this bingo fuel alert appeared at 48% (I’m nice, I’m actually approaching low) of fuel, which is infinitely closer to 50% than what you guys seem to be claiming because “huh the devs put bingo at 17% so it IRL rafale should only have 17% of fuel when bingo”

I would like to point out bingo varies depending on mission, we dont know where the bingo location is set for this aircraft to have such a high “bingo”, and for carrier ops, the need for high fuel in case of redundancy is clear.

If you can find a Rafale C/D case that would be much more relevant.

the bingo fuel warning can be set to different remaining fuel values dependeing on mission and initial fuel load at least in most modern jets idk if the rafale is advanced enough for that

I think it’s still infinitely more relevant than whatever Mythic wants, that is modelling according to a random devs decision to put it at 17% lol
