Jumbo has a top speed of 35kph. It sure is better than Tiger 2h, but i wouldn’t call it better than other heavies. It’s average at best.
And in a match of 7.0/7.3 regardless of the map i wouldn’t even bother spawning in it since everything you meet will be a 2h at the very least anyway unless you are lucky enough to have germany on your team.
Eh 2H is a tricky one, honestly in a city fight theres two outcomes he pushes me and i take his track and keep him there forever or he has multiple friends and theres nothing i can do. Regardless i track them then scurry off if i can or sometimes I’m lucky and they shoot my transmission and non pen at which point i steal his barrel and eat him.
Yeah that’s why jumbo isn’t very suitable for 6.3 and i would rather see it at 6.0.
Tiger 2h is stupidly popular, you face it in large quantities in basically every match you play with the 76.
Like i said above i think it could be 6.0 but id hate to fight against it in 5.0 tank as he can play very aggressive and i would be at nearly every disadvantage. Fast reload stabilizer, good pen only weakspots being a wheel shot or a machine gun port and thats if hes not bushed up.
I play it at 6.7 and i think its okay, its.not great but okay, and when i have gotten a 5.7 downtier its a seal club fest
Tell me what vehicles do you even have at 5.0?
5.0 outside of US is basically a dead BR.
In USSR all you have is KV-85 and SU-85M which both you can easly bring to 5.3 to get better lineup.
In germany you only have the VK 30, sweden only has that 1 autoloading medium and Japan only has the Chi-Ri.
There are basically no nations outside of US with reasonable 5.0 lineups. Jumbo won’t face nearly any players with nothing better than a 5.0 tank
Sweden has the only good vehicle in its rank at 5.0 the delat torn and considering other vehicles most players skip the 5.0+ vehicles because they are pretty meh. I play all vehicles on all the nations i play. So 5.0 sweden is LVKV 42 (4.7) TD/SPAA Strv M/42 DT (5.0) PVKV 1954? (5.0)
Japan has both 4.7 chi to’s and the Chi Ri II 5.0 with M19 spaa, would’ve mentioned italy but its been a while and i think most of their 5.x is now 5.7 regardless playing these nations sucks because they dont get full lineups and full uptiers against nations like the US is hell. I know because ive both fough and played against Jumbo players, anyone thats actually a Jumbo fan will be nearly unkillable in a full downtier if you know how to play the map.
Bow we also need to talk about uptiers, each nation has more or less downtiers at their respective BR’s Japan for me was mainly 5.7 or 4.7 matches, sweden is just 6.0 lol
Even if thats true, one cannot ask for vehicle BR change just to be outside of current BR “black hole”. BR decompression is better way to go as it would fix many BR “black holes”, not just one you are trying to avoid.
Ofc, but with current gaijin’s attitude we can’t have that. Ground should’ve beeen extended up at least to 13.0 long ago
But they wont change BR either. They use special algorithm to change vehicle BR and until that algorithm triggers change BR will stay as it is.
How they actually determine balance is still unknown to us, but i wouldn’t be surprised if some algorithm was doing majority of the work.

It’s the algorithm. That’s what they said. But we don’t know what parameters it is using or what the threshold when change is triggered.
No wonder it is this bad then. If it’s an algorythm it won’t take into account anything aside of raw stats. No way it can make accurate judgement

Funny how the focus is on the Tigers when the real problem is that Panthers are also at 6.0 (and lower in the cases of the VK and D variants). If the Jumbos can be 6.3, so can they.
There are plenty of light armored vehicles which are an easy kill for the Jumbos stabilized 76mm gun, which often have a higher BR.
ALL 6.0 TT Panthers are under 50% win ratio and in the case of G variant is 39% . How is possible they are a problem???
The only roblem i can find are the trash USA teams.
Jumbo 76 is superior than any 75 Panther. Specially after long range maps and movility nerfs.
I do think history plays a part here.The Panther is a WW2 legend while the 76 Jumbo is a make shift underrated tank in few numbers.I think the M4 is underrated anyway.If you have ever worked in a tank you can see there is so much to love about the M4 compared to other tanks of it’s era.
So is every top tier US tank, but apparently those don’t need buffed or moved down. Funny how when the Abrams are trending in the 30%s Americans suck, but if the Panthers are sub 50 it’s also Americans. Seems like everything is on US mains.
Further proof that it is not the tank, but the players. The G variant is easily the strongest.
Panthers are great and seeing them at <50% WR is funny.
Germany has the best 6.7 in the game and it still has sub 45% WR lol.
I prefer USA 6.7
