He was using my Chinese tanks, somehow the other guy shot my autoloader (I think it was a turret ring shot) and my friend was flipping out saying, “no one in the tank is dead, why am I not reloading!”)

Japan is the tech tree that is bare, America doesn’t need another country. Korea at least makes more sense in giving something more than CAS that Thailand gives.

And besides, not much difference on CAS that Thailand and Korea gives. No hammer or Kh-38. Just same Maverick. Don’t think slam-er would give much difference, as it’s guidance mechanism and speed is just equal to maverick.

Because Thailand gave Japan nothing but majority American vehicles (besides an Alpha Jet that I think no one cares about, and a Grippen), meanwhile Korea would give Japan multiple vehicles like the K1 and variants, K2, plus Korean jets. Plus North Korea would give Japan much needed armour, similar to how Hungary gave Italy some armour in the Turan tanks, T-series, and Leopard 2s.
That’s the difference. Thailand gave Japan more American equipment (excuse the outlier of a Grippen and the beta plane). Korea would give Japan armour (T-series and IS-2 tanks), modern MBTs that are not glorified light tanks (K1, K1 variants, and K2), and even Korean made jets.
No, my point is that Thailand gave Japan nothing but some CAS planes. I already said I don’t value CAS, and Japan doesn’t need CAS. Hence the correlation of: no need CAS, no need Thailand.

You don’t see us Irish burning down Gaijin because the Belfast and Òrla (both Irish ships) are in the UK tree. You don’t see the Indians crapping all over the forum because Bhishma, OSA, Strela, and MiG 21 Bison are in the British tree.

The Type 10 is a light tank given a medium tank designation. Then again, that is basically what Japan is. No armour and the same playstyle. At least the K1 would give it diversity. Actually now that I think of it, Japan hates diversity, so yeah, that might be why Stockholm the Jap is so mad about this: he’s a Jap.
I played Sweden because part of my family is southern Saami, that’s about it really. Fun to play the tanks, but the air was lackluster.
This has been discussed so many times and some players keep on suggesting it when it clearly has been denied.
South Korea has no connection to Japan and should not be there in anyway, that Japan lacks in certain parts doesn’t mean that they should get some random country. Should we now give Israel Iranian or Iraqi vehicles because they lack in certain parts?
Aside from that Japan has connections to other countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines which they sold arms to. So instead of asking for random countries look for countries which have an actual connection ti Japan.

Belfast is never in an Irish navy service, and Le Orla was originally British ship that landed over to Ireland after its original duty, defending Hong-Kong, was ended with British landed Hong-Kong to China. Not the same case of South Korean equipment, which has zero relationship with Japan, becoming Japanese tree.
Also, do note that Indian-UK relationship is much better than Korea-Japan relationship. India is head of commonwealth republic nations, and one of most biggest nation that welcomes brexist.
Even in those cases, I see plenty of Indians not welcome India’s introduction as UK subtree in forum.
In case of Korea-Japan relationship… well Gaijin will never get license of Korean equipment if they say ‘we will going to release Korean equipment in Japan tree’

Nah… what fantasy do you have over Korean armor? If you want ‘armor’ of tank, go play Sweden not Japan wishing Korea to be Japan. Even Korea cannot offer ‘armor’ level of Germany or Sweden ingame.
