I played Sweden because part of my family is southern Saami, that’s about it really. Fun to play the tanks, but the air was lackluster.
This has been discussed so many times and some players keep on suggesting it when it clearly has been denied.
South Korea has no connection to Japan and should not be there in anyway, that Japan lacks in certain parts doesn’t mean that they should get some random country. Should we now give Israel Iranian or Iraqi vehicles because they lack in certain parts?
Aside from that Japan has connections to other countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines which they sold arms to. So instead of asking for random countries look for countries which have an actual connection ti Japan.

Belfast is never in an Irish navy service, and Le Orla was originally British ship that landed over to Ireland after its original duty, defending Hong-Kong, was ended with British landed Hong-Kong to China. Not the same case of South Korean equipment, which has zero relationship with Japan, becoming Japanese tree.
Also, do note that Indian-UK relationship is much better than Korea-Japan relationship. India is head of commonwealth republic nations, and one of most biggest nation that welcomes brexist.
Even in those cases, I see plenty of Indians not welcome India’s introduction as UK subtree in forum.
In case of Korea-Japan relationship… well Gaijin will never get license of Korean equipment if they say ‘we will going to release Korean equipment in Japan tree’

Mate, I would love if Israel was given Arab speaking nations. I would actively go out of my way and demand that Israel was given Egyptian, Iranian, Iraqi, and Palestinian vehicles.
Nah… what fantasy do you have over Korean armor? If you want ‘armor’ of tank, go play Sweden not Japan wishing Korea to be Japan. Even Korea cannot offer ‘armor’ level of Germany or Sweden ingame.
Belfast is Irish, I do not recognise the Good Friday Agreement. I already fought one war against invaders, I wouldn’t mind restarting the Troubles.
I played Sweden, wasn’t that impressed, although I did win a few thousand Euros in non-Gaijin sponsored tournaments with Sweden.
‘City’ Belfast is irish, but ‘Cruiser’ Belfast was always, and even now, British ship. Never been in Irish service. Enough nonsense please.

But honestly what makes you think Gaijin would implement South Korea in Japan? Especially when sub trees are placed based on the connection they have with the country they are in
I said both northern and southern Korea. I’m including Korea and the American occupied southern half.
Non of them have anything to do with Japan, so again what makes you assume that Gaijin would implement them in Japan?

Korea doesn’t give shit. but TH was a mistake. it would literally be better if they just add the entire ASEAN to japan and shove in SU-30MKM, F-16A MLU, Hawk 200, A-4, MiG-29N, Bronco, and Hunter FGA 74. Add in Leo 2SG, Leo 2ID, PT-91, Pandur, Scorpion, Saracen, and Bionix to the ground tree.
If they want Enrichment from SEA, they should add all of them.

I think maybe at least one more country would be added, as now it is not rare for see multiple sub-tree.
I think Indonesia as best choice as it is another nation that can give variety of vehicles all among ground/air/heli/bluewater/coastal.

Indonesian naval coastal might be good, but most of them are missile frigate. if we want something from Indonesian army inventory, it’s gotta be air. We got Avon sabre, MiG-17-21, TU-16, IL-28, A-4, F-16, Flanker (27 and 30), and Super Tucano for low tier CAS.
With rafale F4 already on production and talk for F-15EX and rumour J-10, japan air can be the strongest air tree in the game esp with SG added.

I would suggest an ASEAN sub tree and give Japan the necessary vehicles they need but this should be countries they have an military connection with.

If that’s the case then Japan isn’t getting any subtree at all. sorry but you gotta shoehorn some BS in if you want japan rank 5 - 8 to have some content in it. and seeing as they can shoehorn Israel, a tree where third of it composed of M-60 as a standalone tech tree instead of trinkets spread across all tree, shoving in ASEAN to JP is really not that big deal of an issue.
