Even on the ground point, there’s nothing Korea only gives that Thailand gives. Actually, Oplot-T is more War thunder fitted tank than K-1 or K-2 does. And Stringray light tank is in service, while ROKAF does not service any tracked big gun light tank.
CAS is important part of ground realistic right now. Maybe too important than it has to be.
So a M48, M60, an obscure vehicle that will end up as an event vehicle one day, and some Ukrainian thing that will also be an event one day. That beats out a proper MBT in the K1 and K2, plus the evolutions of the K1 as well.
Oh my, an Alpha jet! Yeah, I’m skipping over that one because it’s an alpha jet. I skipped over that one in France too, and when I get around to doing Germany, I’m skipping it too.
Here’s the thing: Korea had nothing prior to 1945 besides Japanese equipment. Even then, I am pretty sure they were using Japanese equipment during the Korean War (at the very least using rifles). If Korea gets their own tech tree, they’ll be another Israel: starting at 6.0 and will have absolutely nothing in their tech tree. They are better off as a subtree.
Not only T-series but also coastal and autoloading MBT, what USA clearly lacks XD.
Also, all those south Korean equipments were related to USA technology so makes much more sense than Japan, right?
Oh great, I can already see American mains whining that their tank isn’t reloading when their autoloader is shot. The sad part is I’ve actually witnessed that when I let my friend 1v1 someone on my account (I have multiple top tiers).
He was using my Chinese tanks, somehow the other guy shot my autoloader (I think it was a turret ring shot) and my friend was flipping out saying, “no one in the tank is dead, why am I not reloading!”)
