Yeah, it takes a bit o getting used to. Once you do get used to it, it is wonderful, though.
Once you get APHE it becomes very good, without it it is meh at best. Low tier swedes really have the stock issue- though once you get to top tier you will find yourself pleasantly suprised on that front.
Sweden is not bad. It does have some vehicles that are quite rough, notably the early tank destroyer line is pretty bad, but it has a lot of good stuff too. The Strv m/42 DT is pretty good, the Pvkv II is absolutely amazing and makes a great lineup with the Finnish Pz. IV H, and you can also throw the Pvkv m/43 (1946) in there as a lineup filler. 5.7 is good with the Strv 74, and T–34-85, and Comet I. 6.7 is quite good with the Pbv 501 and Bkan 1C, and if you have the Kungstiger it becomes a monster lineup. And almost all of high tier is extremely good.
Technically not true, the finnish t34’s were copy pasted with the add on armor weight for their weight while not having the armor so they are slower as they both weight 200kg more. I wouldnt count the track armor on the front hull or the front track guards since they dont really effect it but those are Technically worse. I think a few other copy paste vehicles have this when the original vehicle has add on armor and the other tank is missing it.
I think this is a bit pessimistic, TL;DR some tanks are definitely easier to pick up and do well with, more specialised vehicles need more time to cook, but the benefit is that their quirks can be leveraged to a greater extent.
I think most players will need about 75 battles to really get a feel for the tank. I have a habbit of a player’s stats when they are having an exceptional game on my team or the enemy, and generally speaking they’ll have vehicles with upwards of 500 kills. All this is to say that you can’t understate how important experience is. What’s also important is understand that sometime you’re up against player that have 8-9 years of experience.
Haven’t touched Sweden yet but it even says right at the start of the wiki page that it lacks Ostketten, an MG and Add-on armor which are pretty big points
I’d agree on that since it’s still a Panzer 4 so not gonna be terrible but it’s also not the exact same as peak german Panzer 4 performance since it’s basically a downgrade from the IV J which itself was a downgrade from the IV H while all three have the same BR in all modes.
Tunnan? Thats more than half, and that very much depends A29 and J29A are mid, the J29D is the best Tunnan, sweden until Rank VII is miserable for air but its not surprising gaijin hasn’t bothered trying to make sweden air useful in years, its been left to rot lol
should have bozght the kvm1943. its goeted. And now sweden has M24, and the T34 is extrmliy good, sweden spaa is fine, some spg are fine, but i would go and take the copy and paste viacle, can help may br of 4.0-5-3
sounds like a complete skill issue to me. Literally the best Sherman in game as it lacks ANY weakspots frontally and has lowest BR compared to others with bigger amount of weakspots :/
Thats the problem i dont want an SPAA thats a glorified TD i need SPAA because swedish CAP aircraft are terrible. Unfortunately nearly every SPAA is a better TD. PBV 301, L-62 ANTI II, LVKV 42, USH 204GK, VEAK 40, Leo Marksman, LVKV9040C. Notice how many are TD’s with terrible SPAA abilities?
